My 2007 f150 will not crank over I hear the relay click but there seems to be no power going to the solenoid. I replaced the relay and it started about 30 times now same prob any advice

What relay did you replace ? Starter relay ? Removing the relay you may have changed connector position in the fuse / relay box where the relay plugs into . Wiggle the relay see if that does anything . At the relay base jump pin's 30 & 87 with jumper wire , it should crank the engine over . If you look on the bottom of the relay you will see 4 set's of numbers 30 & 87 are load side of the relay . If you were to test with a voltmeter ,pin 30 would have Battery voltage ,Pin 87 goes to the S terminal on the starter solenoid . Pins 85 & 86 are the control side .When you turn the key to start B+ voltage goes through the run / start diode ,located in the AUX relay box 1 through the digital transmission range sensor to pin 86 of the starter relay ,pin 85 goes to the PCM .Where the PCM supply's a ground energizing the starter relay closing the contacts inside sending B+ voltage to the starter solenoid S terminal . What is the start interrupt relay in a 1999 ford windstar

The instrument cluster on you vehicle has a microprocessor inside and it is in control of anti-theft . The control side of the start interrupt relay is hooked to the instrument cluster electrical connector (pin 10 ) on the back of the instrument cluster . If there are no anti-theft system problems the logic inside the instrument cluster with supply a ground to that pin , there by energizing the relay , creating a magnetic field closing the load side contacts inside the relay sending B+ voltage to the starter solenoid . This will cause the starter to spin the engine over there by starting the engine . There are videos on youtube showing how a relay works , if you don't know !

If it is like most Sears lawn tractors, the starter motor gear that engages the flywheel is a composite (read: plastic) pice that over time will wear out. When that happens it will just grind on the flywheel and not start the tractor. The gear is usually installed in the starter motor shaft with a washer, spring, and roll pin. The gear can be purchased and replaced without replacing the entire starter.

Need to replace.. Light quit working. How to install the starter. Is there a trick to getting them in?

IF you can see the starter remove it by gently turning it Anti-clockwise,inside there are 2 holes with a slightly curved slot the pins of the starter need to go into these holes when you have located the pins into the holes gently turn the starter Clockwise.if you cannot see it then you will have to remove the light and cover plate and follow the same steps as above.

Ma washer bosch exclusiv f 1100 a stops in a middle of washing and starts beeping seems as it gets not enough water

3 things to check...

1. Insure water faucet at the wall is fully turned on.

2. Insure the hose is not kinked.

3. After checking 1 & 2, turn off the water at the wall faucet. Remove the hose at the wall faucet and the washer. Straighten the hose and look down in the side that goes to the washer. There should be a small screen to filter debris. If it is clogged, use a safety pin or straight pin to punch out the debris. Rinse and reattach the hose.

If the above steps show no issues, then your water on/off valve inside the Bosch is shutting off too soon and most likely will need a repairman to fix or replace it.

Starter made a horrific "

Do not turn the engine over any more than you have . You must un-hook battery terminal positive
grounds is ok , You have to take power cable from starter . now take the starter off the bike, when
it gets lose do not use force , just ease it out. Try not to leave any of spring , gear,pin, washer , housing . leave nothing . remove starter to a table close by. look starter over good, see if you can
see pieces missing . If housing is not craked or broken and the shaft, gear and pin are all intact?
Then it broke inside of the starter and that is a good thing . You have to check everything inside
starter housing on the motor, make sure no nothing has left a scar in side, if nothing is visual ?
This is good, but you still have to take the starter to someone that can identify the problem .
Once they have cleared you to put a new starter back on, you may do so . But please find out
why it broke before you put the next one in there.

My harley davis 1200c .will start some time and it will just tick like it is trying to start. but will not start. have change the battery. what else could it be. it is a 2002

Ok as long as you are certain the battery is not the problem, there are two other causes that match this description. One, is the starter relay. The starter relay is a one inch plastic cube with about six wires running to the bottom end of it. When you press the start button it will engage with a slight click. Usually this click is so soft that you can't hear it.

The cause could be the starter solenoid. When you press the starter button, the starter relay mentioned engages and puts power to the single wire that goes into the starter at the top of the pentagon shaped plate on the end of the starter. The voltage energizes the solenoid. There is a plunger inside the solenoid and when the coil is energized, the plunger is pulled into the starter. This pushes the starter drive gears into mess with the ring gear on the outer clutch hub and makes two three large contacts inside the starter to connect the battery to the starter.

To check the contacts, remove the three bolts that holds the back plate on the starter. Now, I haven't told you to disconnect the battery so keep in mind that some of the things inside the solenoid are electrically "hot". Exercise due caution or disconnect the battery. Remove the plate from the end of the starter. Remove the plunger and spring. Inside the solenoid housing, you'll see to large copper contacts and there will be a copper "washer" on the plunger. This copper washer is what bridges across the copper contacts in the solenoid to start the starter motor. Over time, the copper contacts burn away and the plunger does not travel far enough inwards to make the copper washer contact these contacts any longer. You can replace these contacts. You can purchase a kit from an aftermarket source or buy the parts individually from Harley.

Washer leaves spots on clothes

wipe the inside of the washer with a clean white cloth and see if anything shows up, it may be an ink pin that was left in the wash or a leaking seal that is letting grease enter the washer tube from the washer tub bearings.

This is an easy one to solve. Those are moving pins , when in transport. When it is delivered, the delivery people simply just pull on some straps and the pins fall in the cup. You need to keep these when moving washer to put back in, so not to damage anything.

Interior Lighting on True Refrigerator Unit

A starter may be located in the top area inside the cooler. Not all true coolers have starters. Check the connections where the light pins slide into. Also may need new ballast.
