Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.

How do I E-Mail Photos from my Olympus fe-290 on a dell laptop with winows vista. I do have the USB cord, thanks you

method 1 without photo management software:

To e-mail pictures from your camera with your laptop just hook up the camera to your laptop
and widows should come up with a menu asking you what you want to do with this device.
choose open folder to view files this should make the cameras media show up on the desktop.
You should also be able to see the media on the camera under my computer removable storage.
Or if it shows up here as a camera just right click and choose explore device. With most cameras
thier should be a folder called DCIM your pictures should be in this directory. Some cameras may
have subdirectories like video and thumnails in this directory also.

Once you've found the pictures, open you e-mail client or web mail and create a new e-mail. Open the attachment button. this should bring up a file manager that will allow you to find your pictures and select the ones you want to send. Some e-mail programs will have a white clipboard area beside the attachment button. If the e-mail client your using does, then you can just drag and drop
the pictures here to attach them to your e-mail

If your sending large picture files say 6.0mp and up then don't send more than one to 3 per e-mail
otherwise it can chog up your e-mail client for several minutes to hours.

If you want to send many pictures or video files to friends and family members you might consider
Dropbox. This is an online backup and storage program that will allow to share files online.

Method 2 with photo management:

Photo management software can take alot of the manual process of getting photos from your camera and storing them on your hard drive, fixing lighting, fixing red eye, fixing orientation,
tagging, organizing and other things you may want to do with your photos and automating the
process. Some of these have either the ability to create web albums or email pictures directly
from the photo management software. I personally like Picasa from Google

How to download sent mail from gmail to Outlook 2003. can anyone help me out

Hi,,

Step A: Clear all message from the GMail Trash folder by selecting "Empty Trash Now"

Step B: Open the Sent Mails folder and choose Select All. You'll now see a new link saying "Select all n conversations in Sent Mail" - Click that.

Step C: Select the "More Actions" drop-down and apply a new unique label like "WorkUnderProgress"

Step D: Select the "More Actions" drop-down again and choose Delete action this time [Don't be scared, logically we are just moving email from one folder to another]

Step E: Start Microsoft Outlook (or Thunderbird or Apple Mail), setup the POP configuration and start downloading your GMail locally. The items in Trash section of your GMail account won't be downloaded.

Step F: Once the download is complete, goto the GMail Trash folder and select all messages. Click the "Move to Inbox" button (be careful not to press the Delete Forever which is just next)

Step G: Goto the WorkUnderProgress folder, select all messages and click the Archive Button. Then from the drop down, choose Remove Label - WorkUnderProgress.

Have a nice day

Hi,

1.Connect your mobile device to your computer using Microsoft ActiveSync. Once it is connected, double-click on the green circle on your task bar to open the Active Sync windows. (If the circle is gray, then it means that your device is not properly connected).
2.Click the Explore icon in the ActiveSync windows.
3.Here you can see the files and folders on your device. Copy your chosen HME/CAB file to you’re My Documents folder. You can also copy the file to the main directory of a storage card

I try to log in and it goes back to the log in screen

This is what you have to do. Back up your mail to another / separate folder that you create on your hard drive. Just copy and paste the entire Yahoo folder to this directory. Do this so you don't lose that info. Delete Yahoo and reinstall. Now just do your log in info stuff and you should be fine. When you log in and want to see your mail it should pick up that directory or just choose that file. Now a days most servers keep all this info on their computers so you don't have to. You probably will be able to access all your info from them. Feel free to ask me anything else. Hope this helps.

I lost everything in my root directory!

The upgrade should have put any pretinent files on the device that were needed. The easyRip application will write the necessary files when the transfer of media is done.

In answer to your question specifically...No, the player is not having issues because you don't have the root directory files. I would try re-installing the firmware again.

I want to save an email message to my memory stick but pc wont do it

Hi,

Please follow the following steps to backup your emails from Vista on the
memory stick and then download them on in Vista Mail of another PC:

Backup emails on memory stick
1) Browse to the C:\Users\<username>\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Window s Mail
folder
2) Open the local folders directory
3) Open the Inbox folder and Copy the contents of this folder
4) Close all windows and go to your desktop
5) Create a new folder and call it MSBackup
6) Paste all items into this new folder.
A manual backup of the message store has just taken place. You may now
simply copy the MSBackup Folder to your memory stick

Restore emails from memory stick to another PC

1) Copy the MSBackup Folder from the memory stick to desktop.
2) On the desktop, open the MSBackup Folder.
3) Copy all the items in the MSBackup folder and close the window
4) Browse to the c:\users\<username>\local\windows mail\local folders
directory
5) Open the Inbox Folder
6) Paste all the items into this folder. Choose yes if prompted to
overwrite folders/files.
7) Open Windows Mail. You will notice all the email messages have returned.

Let me know if this works.
