pull the cover under the door check to make sure the wires that plug into the heating element are secure. If they are then you need to replace the element. Just unplug the two wires make sure you flip off the breker for your dw . The wires will connect to the prongs that line up with the element inside the d/w then remove the two nuts holding the element in place push up on the prongs and then lift it out from the inside.
There is probably a leak under the tub., Water drips into a catch pan and sets off the beeping. Take the kick panel off the bottom front and see if there is any water in the pan. If there is you can drain it or blot it. BUT this is an indication of a bigger problem. You might want to run it after you dry the pan and see if you can spot dripping water when using a flashlight.
My belling idw704 makes a gushing noise for a second every 5 or so seconds at the start of a cycle like it is struggling to add water. This continues until i open the door. the cycle never finishes????
are you sure it is the board at fault, not justv the door catch? (as the door wont open). If the dishwasher believes it has just finished a cycle and the door has not yet been opened it will not let you change the program.
I had this same problem so I hooked an allen key around the back of the white door catch and pulled it into the unlocked position with a pair of pliers. Has worked fine since but every now and then the catch will pop back into the locked position when the door is opened.
reset the display to -. if there's a number there it's the length of time later it will start at. both the start and the program have to be selected together..........but you also have to reset it after the last program
You can cancel the programme at any point by holding down the last button on the right hand side for about 10 seconds until it clears (its the same button you use to get it going again when you open up the door).
