6 Steps to fix F20 washer problem.
1.After a time the small hose that comes from the pump area to the pressure switch located at the top of the machine can clog.
2.Unplug the machine.
3.Remove the top or the back of the washer.
4.Locate the pressure switch near the top of the washer. It is about 4 in round and has wires and a 1/4 inch black tube attached to it.
5.Pull the tube from the switch and blow through the tube until clear.
6.Reassemble, plug in and test.

When using the dryer I constantly get the 5e error flashing. What do I do to fix it?

An SE is caused by a temporary sensor error. If this error code is diplayed, turn off the power to the washer and unplug it.. After 10 seconds, plug it back in and attempt to restart the washing cycle. If the problem persist, the unit may require service.

F 12 whirlpool 6 th sense washing machine.

hello,

simple ,The "F 12" error code is an indication of a water temperature sensor error. There is a chance that there is a loose wire connection on the water temperature

what you need to do to fix up your washer is to check on the wiring connection from the power supply to the water temperature indicator.

thank you and thanks for using fixya.

Washer is diplaying Ld and won't restart

Hi,

Ld stands for long drain.

Here is what the manufacture says about that error, my comments will follow.

LONG DRAIN If the drain time exceeds eight minutes, Ld will be displayed, the water valves will turn off, and the pump will stop running.

Press PAUSE/CANCEL to drain the machine. The display will be cleared and the machine will turn off after a maximum of eight minutes. Possible Causes/Procedure
1. Check the drain hose and make sure it is not plugged or kinked.
2. Unplug washer or disconnect power.
3. Check the drain pump filter for foreign objects, and also make sure the hose from the tub to the pump is not plugged or kinked.
4. Check the electrical connections at the pump and make sure the pump is running.
5. Plug in2_bing.gif washer or reconnect power.
6. If the above does not correct the problem, go to step 7.
7. Unplug washer or disconnect power.
8. Replace the pump.

Phil's comments -----> This error is usually due to something getting stuck in the drain pump or drain hose, typically after washing a rug with a rubber backing that has come off or small articles like baby socks that were not put into a garment bag prior to washing.

To clean out the pump the machine would need disassembled and is best done by a service professional unless you are up for a good challenge.

You are likely using the wrong kind of detergent and the suds are not being washed away.

Use high-efficiency detergent and/or lessen the amount of detergent you are using.
