Question about Onkyo TX-SR705 Receiver
Got a power surge through our cable system and now the is no HDMI output from the receiver. All other audio features, tuner, aux. input IPOD works fine.
Need to know what might be wrong and what I need to replace.
HDMI requires a digital encoder circuit to output the digital signal, that was most likely was damaged by the surge, have the receiver repaired. also contact the power company, they have a form u can fill out for reimbursement for repair costs due to power surges, also install a surge protector.
