SOURCE: Janome Memory Craft 9500 Troubleshooting

The solution that I found last night was the thread tension. I have never touched the dial, only had it set on 'auto." When I started playing with it, I realized the top thread should be really easy to pull through the machine and it wasn't. I started turning the dial (to 3 or 4) and the thread slid through the machine perfectly. No more birds nest! I really thought it was bobbin initially because of the horrible sound it was making.

SOURCE: Loose stitching underneath. HOW CAN I FIX!!!!

Sounds as though you may have a burr or rough spot on the hook where the bobbin inserts. Run your finger along the edge of the hook to see if there are any rough spots.I'm sure you're going to find at least one from the time you broke the needle.Once you locate it, remove it with an emery stick or small sharpening stone. Polish it so that it is smooth. Should work okay.

SOURCE: Kenmore 100 stitch 385 It will not pull the bobin

Make sure that you have the bobbin threaded correctly, and that you have a tail of 3-4 inches held in your left hand until the top thread catches, make sure you move your handwheel towards you and your needle is inserted with the flat side facing the rear of your machinine.

Hello dear

have you tried changing the needle?
have you tried adjusting the top thread tension?
it might be the needle and the thread are not compatable,, the needle may be to light for the thread.
if the suggestions don't help, sew on the sewing machine till it makes the loop and then stop the machine and take it to the repair man and let him see the loop and then ask him why it's making the loop.

Janome 9102D unthreading

make sure to have long thread tails before you start to sew
change the needles & see if that helps
it's also possible that the machine is out of time & needs to be
checked

If the loops are forming on the bottom it is the TOP thread tension you need to check. Make sure it isn't too loose. Also is the needle the right type and size for the fabric? Check the stitch out on plain cotton fabric if a tension adjustment doesn't fix it.

The TOP thread effects the UNDERSIDE of the stitch and the BOBBIN thread effects the TOPSIDE of the stitch :)

The top thread is looping every 30 or 40 stitches on my Juki DDL 8700. I put in a fresh needle, cleaned thoroughly, fresh throat plate and re-threaded. Any ideas? Thank you!

Raise the presser foot before threading the machine.

What looks like a problem with the bobbin thread is usually due to the machine being threaded with the foot down.

Foot up - tension control opens; foot down - tension control closes.

When the tension control is closed, the thread cannot enter as it should and then cannot be controlled to form a proper stitch with the bobbin thread.

The Singer Sewing Co website has many graphics that are the same for all sewing machines - you can check there with regards to winding, inserting the bobbin into the case/shuttle and bringing up the bobbin thread.

Brother LS-2125 - stitches forming loops on the right side as a sew

acing you has loops on it then it is the bobbin tension which is incorrect or the bobbin has been threaded wrongly. A good way to test tension is using contrasting colours top and bottom. Rethread your machine and tighten up the bobbin tension screw if needed.

Problem with spool Thread, please suggest a solution!

This is a tension problem.
In addition to the top thread having a tension adjustment there is the facility to adjust the tension of the bottom(bobbin) thread.
Both these tensions need to be correct to get a balanced stitch and to stop the loose threads underneath the cloth.
It is almost impossible to explain how to adjust the bottom tension you need to be shown.
Somewhere in your manual it should explain how to do this.
