Question about Sharp Mx-m450n Mfp Multifunction Booklet Maker M450n M450 Copy/print/scan/fax
Sharp MX-M450N copier getting Error code U6-02
Posted by Anonymous on
You have a large capacity double tray, the code is for the lift up motor in the right hand tray (that lifts the paper stack to the rollers) pull out the tray and see if there is paper wadded between the tray and the back wall of the machine blocking the motor boss from meshing with the tray.
Clear the motor error code with SIM 15 in the service area of the machine (from copy mode, # * C * to access)
If the code comes back your lift motor is worn out and needs to be replaced

Sorry bubbabear 64, you are wrong you need to reset the copier with sim 14, once you have cleared the jam, there is no sensor in the fuser so often if the paper gets crumpled in there is doesnt trigger and sensors so the customer trys to copy again and again, seen it many times.

Basicly, any screws that are Blue in color can be removed. It is very easy to do if you know how Sharps are... You may be getting your self above your head... You also, have to reset the drum counter & drum cycle counters... Good Luck
