SOURCE: my vodafone simcard
If your phone is telling you that your Sim card is not valid.
There is two possible conditions.
1) There is water on you sim card or it is dirty
What to do: Take yout phone apart (back caver, batteries, SIM card, abd memcard) dry everything and clean it up. Then put it back together.
2) Your sim card is scratched.
To ensure it try that sim in another phone and see....
Only thing to do: Buy a new Sim card.
Hope my info solves your problem,
Thanx for using fixya....

SOURCE: it wont accept any sim card,
It is probably a SIM gone bad. I know it sounds weird, I've dropped my sim on the floor or the carpet and it works fine, then one day having nothing to do with anything, it's dead. Does the phone even try to register when you power up? If you paid your bill, and I'm sure you did (because it would say something different), then it is your SIM.
Just get a new SIM from your local dealer or call the carrier if you wish. Oh, don't let them charge you for that either. I am a T-Mobile agent and they try to have the stores charge for this, but it's not any fault of yours, they will give you the SIM if you ask...

SOURCE: the simcard is not working
Hello Emanzico . Maybe you have the same trouble that I had today with a new phone .As I am very old ,I put the SIM in the wrong way round and nothing worked .I got the same message as you .The gold coloured side faces down .The cut-off corner goes one way only.Look for a small pattern in the phone that shows which way it fits. Handbooks do not explain this . Good luck .
