You can order it from a dealer, such as me, or from Fellowes. My info is in the repair directory under Blair Business Machines

Keeps stopping with overload light on. How can this be fixed

The most likely cause is that the shredded paper, has tightly wrapped itself in the blades. One possible cause is by shredding labels (like Avery Labels) or any paper which has adhesive on it. (Causes it to attach the cut pieces to between the cutters.) It reaches a point where there is so much bound up on the blades that even a single sheet of paper will cause an overload. The fix is simple to describe, but difficult to accomplish. You must go in and manually remove all of the paper bound up in the blades. It's not easy, I found that using a needle nose pliers worked best. Lot of digging and tugging (paper will pack between the blades very tightly). Sometimes a small, slotted screwdriver will aid in being able to pry out bits and pieces (it's not going to come out in anything but small chunks; at best). Don't forget to unplug your shredder before you start; those blades are sharp. This happened several times with my last shredder *Royal), but not once with my current shredder (Fellows). I tend to believe that the better quality shredders are worth the extra money. But any shredder will become a problem if you shred labels (like Avery) or paper products that has adhesive on it. (Another common mistake is shredding junk mail that has any kind of adhesive associated with it. Best to open and check first.) One other thing, ALL shredders need to be oiled on a regular basis. They make special oil for this, you can usually find small bottles of it at Wally World or the like. Best practice is to squirt some shredder oil in a serpentine pattern. over a piece of paper to be shredded and run it through. Do this whenever you empty the shredder bin. (Important for the life of your shredder.)

NEED TO REPLACE PLASTIC/VYNAL GEARS FOR A P55C FELLOWS SHREDDER

Have you owned it for less than a year? The warranty on all parts is one year from purchase and 3 on the blades.

If its out of warranty then you have to choose between trying to find parts or replacing the whole unit.

You can buy a refurbished one from Fellows for $45.00 at this link.
Refurbished Shredder

I doubt you are going to find parts for your shredder but even if you could I suspect the will cost about half of what the whole refurbished one costs

My fellows PS-65S electric eye has been cleaned and still won't take paper to shred

I have had the electric eye come out. they kind of lock in there. I have had a couple push back. I had to take glue the electric eyes into the slot. like I said I have had this happen on two fellows shredders.

Fellows C-320/C-320C shredder runs continuously. It will not stop. I have cleaned the paper sensors, and nothing seemed to change. When the machine is on and running, I(Auto On), O(Off), and R(Reverse)...

sounds as if you will need to have the auto feed sensor replaced. if they fail it will just run, thinking it sees paper. your machine is under warranty for three years from the date of purchase. call fellowes and see if they have repair depot in your area. 1-800-955-0959

My fellows jbo1 jamed and then stopped running is there a reset buton?

Chances are it's over heated.
Ensure the wastebasket is empty then move power switch to the REVERSE position. This will reverse the jammed paper out of the shredder. If shredder jams again, alternate control switch slowly between REVERSE and AUTO (l) positions to attempt to move jammed paper completely through the shredder. If the shredder jams in reverse mode, move the switch to AUTO (l), depress the manual forward button located on the center of the shredder head and allow to run for five seconds. If jam does not clear, move switch to REVERSE again and allow to run for five seconds. Repeat this process until jam is cleared. If necessary, turn off shredder and use care to grasp the paper and carefully pull out to clear jam. Once cleared, move switch to AUTO (l) to continue shredding. The jamming may be happening because the cutting cylinder needs to be oiled. See oiling instructions below.

I have broken blades in the center of my Fellows PS80C-2 model paper shredder. Can I buy new blades and if so, wo can I purchase them from?

In my limited experience, you should cut the aggrivation factor and discard/replace your machine.

I did eventually find (supposedly) a soruce for parts. What I got was not the proper part at relatively high price. There was of course a restocking fee and shipping that made it uneconomical to return the wrong parts I received. By the time you get this sturdy machine apart, the PROPER parts, get it back together (some times, a trick all itself) you will have a realatively big investment and a old shredder.

The next question catcher that comes along may give you entirely different advice. This is my experience from several years ago. Good luck what ever you decide to do.

Free advice, my friend.

I hope this information has been of some value, though probably not what you wanted to hear.

Motor on / Blades don't move.

Hello,
Sounds like the internal gears or drive shafts are either broken, or out of alignment. Not exactly something that can be easily fixed usually. Hopefully, it's still under warranty?

Paper stuck in the Fellows Paper Shredder

  1. Remove Shredder from paper catcher bin
  2. Remove shredder cover from shredding mechanism assemble (approx. 6 screws on bottom of cover)
  3. Separate shredding mechanism from bottom cover (may have disconnect circuit board from assembly and other wiring from switches , sensors, etc,)
  4. Remove motor gear cover (approx. 4 screws)
  5. Separate shedder main drive gear from motor step up gear by pulling gear out
  6. Turn shredder mechanism up side down to access the cutting blades
  7. Use an adjustable wrench to turn the main drive gear to see stuck paper
  8. Use a needle noise pliers to remove paper shreds
  9. Repeat step 7 and 8 until all shreds are remove and cutting mechanism move smoothly
  10. Reassembly before testing shredder
  11. If you remove only some of the shreds, the motor may seize up and strip the plastic gears from step up gear.
