Question about Audio Players & Recorders
The F61 is an indication of "protection mode" for your unit. This means that a problem was detected in the final stages of the amplifier and the unit is shutdown to prevent further damage. Because of this indication, I suspect that you have a shelf unit. These usually have an AMP-pac or large IC as the amplifier stage. These are not cheap. Depending upon your model, the cost will range from $65 to $95 for the part alone. If you update this with the model number, I can provide the exact part number and cost.
