Take it to your local jewellers or watch makers, or even a shop that stock them. It is a readily available part. You may need the stem aswell as the crown

Whittnauer , 10C01 Crown does not double click, so I can't set day and date.

The button is probably for setting the date, that would explain why the stem only comes out one click. Try pushing it in and see what happens. If nothing then pull the crown out and then push the button. One or the other is true. It also may be you set the day by turning the hands around and around until you get the right day and the button is for the date. Let me know. Michael

Can't get the back of my watch back on

mcdevito75 here, Your Timex watch back cover should have a cutout in the back cover for the stem (winder) make sure this cutout is lined up with the stem the stem lies in this cutout, once you have it lined up, lay the watch down, crystal (glass up on a sturdy surface, Table, counter top etc. Now, with your palm and even, even pressure on the crystal (glass) simply press down, you"ll hare it click shut. Don"t force anything and if you still can"t get your watch back cover on, look for a small watch repair shop in your arear. It may take a special pair of pliers to get the cover on. Most Timex back covers are kind of hard to get back on.

I pulled the stem out completely trying to reset time.

if you broke the stem and its left a peice inside the movement then i would ask your repairer for a module exchange this is cheaper than servicing and a new crown 55.00 or send it back to seiko they are very good with there wont have the tools you need to replace it yourself..

I pulled on the crown and it came off the stem

Do not open the watch yet, as you do not know how to get the stem out.
Take an eyeglass and examine the crown. You will find the small hub in the centre of the crown. If the centre of this hub is hollow and you can see the thread in it- you will be able to screw it back on stem (all watch crowns are screwed on to stems, never pressed).
If the centre of that hub looks filled with metal, then the stem end is broke and you will need replace stem AND crown (the metal filling the hub is the broken end of stem).
In case if the crown still in tact, let me know by asking questions and I'll guide you through all the process HOW TO.

Rate me, please.

Missing piece?

You are not missing anything. The stem (metal bar, wich is going into movement) from the crown (you say knob) is broke. The stem is made of one piece and screws directly into crown. You've been unfortunate to brake it and the tiny end of stem still in the crown - the rest looks OK , but actually it is what's left of the stem. This is not the job you can do yourself, so, find the nearest watchmaker and ask for replacement. Do not forget to rate, please.

Pocket watch stem is broken.

To open the front, try a toothpick in the hole. You will need to get the stem replaced.

To open the back:
Flip the watch over and look around the edge. There will be small slots. A thin blade like a pocket knife will open the back cover. Carefully, put the knife blade into the slot and twist it open. There isn't much user serviceable stuff inside.

I just fixed the same problem .There is a small arrow pointing to a small hole .insert a very thin screw driver or a pin and the stem will come out easily.
