While working, screen turns white

Quick solutions to try:
- Purchase some canned air from a store like staples and blow out all the monitor vent holes.
- Set the monitor back to factory defaults using the menu buttons on the front of the monitor.
- Make sure the video cable is attached properly to the monitor and the computer.
