Either download the User Guide by using the link below or get your own one out of the drawer
When you have a copy turn to page 57 and set the scan to A4 you have probably got it on Letter

Download the manual for the printer from here and check pages 100, 129, and 130

to get to the root cause of the problem . you can try printing from the notepad and check it prints fine from the notepad . if it prints fyn then there can be some issues with the software compatibility.. which version you have for microsoft office.
