Try cleaning the sensors with a cotton swab and alcohol.

My shredder will not work. It makes sounds both forward and reverse, but the blades don't; turn. There's no jam signal. Help!!

Most likely one of the gears popped off or cracked. The blades are gear driven by a motor and it's pretty straight forward. If the blades aren't moving, then it's probably a gear problem since you said the motor runs.
Not much you can do without taking it apart.
Good luck. =)

I have a simple Royal paper shredder. Got paper stuck in it. Going back and forth the paper appears to be gone, and it grinds normally in reverse but going forward the green light is on but nothing will...

Does the machine even run in reverse???? Have you ever oiled the machine.???
Put some "shredder oil" onto the cutting blades while it is running in reverse then try running it forwards.
If you can hear the motor running but the cutting blades dont turn you will have to open it up to see what is broken.
For parts assistance you can contact Royal at 1-800-524-0799.

It will not grab the paper; need to press forwared

Try running the shredder in reverse and oiling the blades. More help with paper shredder oil here: http://hubpages.com/hub/Paper-Shredder-Oil

If you can't get the paper shredder up and running, it looks like you might have to pick up a new paper shredder. Paper shredders can be pretty cheap though, great guide to cheap paper shredders here: http://hubpages.com/hub/Best-Paper-Shredders

Motor on / Blades don't move.

Hello,
Sounds like the internal gears or drive shafts are either broken, or out of alignment. Not exactly something that can be easily fixed usually. Hopefully, it's still under warranty?
