Wich battery number may i use in this watch bulova 96t63 ??thanks

cant see that model watch on the Bulova web site user manuals
http://www.manualslib.com/brand/bulova/watch.html
if unsure if it needs a battery go to a jeweler or watch or battery seller

some model Bulova Watched instructions
IF YOUR NEW WATCH IS A MECHANICAL WATCH
(no battery)
Mechanical watches differ from Quartz watches in several
respects:
1. No battery changes are needed - they are powered by a main-
spring, which is wound either by wrist movement; or in some
models by daily winding of the setting crown.
2. Because it is a mechanical device, it's accuracy is subject to
the effects of gravity and temperature. You can expect, on the
average, a daily variance of up to 10 to 20 seconds for
mechanical watches.
3. Just like automobiles, these watches require routine mainte-
nance. Due to their mechanical complexity, mechanical
watches require cleaning and new lubrication every 3 to 5
years to run at optimum efficiency.
FOR THE AUTOMATIC SELF-WINDING
MECHANICAL WATCH
it must be wound at least six or seven times before you wear it.
After that, your daily activity should wind the watch sufficiently
to keep it running at night when it is not being worn. If your
normal daily activity is not sufficient, occasional supplementary
manual winding may be necessary. It is suggested that your
mechanical watch be cleaned and oiled periodically to insure
optimum performance. As a mechanical watch, quartz watch
accuracy cannot be expected. References to the power cell do
not apply to Automatic watches

Shell does not eject slide jams..I pull clip, pull slide back a couple times , shell ejects what is my problem

Hi! Kevin.....bit hard to know !....assuming ammo is correct dimensionally & of good power., & extractor & ejector are in order & chamber is good & slide is free & full sliding......then my first guess would be sticky firing pin not retracting properly thus stymying ejector action.......any stickier & you might get full auto ?......are you puncturing primers ?.. if gas back escape is part of the picture , bullet may not leave barrel . I suggest you do full strip , incl firing pin , clean & remove any burrs ..... worthwhile to run some dummies by hand & see how they behave..........jimbanjo

Purchased a stainless steel Pulsar LED in 1975 and just found it. I need to replace the batteries (takes 2) and am not sure which ones will work and neither did the jeweler that opened it up. The old...

Any 1.5v cell will work as long as it fits into the cell compartment since all watch cells except for lithium and some rechargables are all 1.5volts. If I remember corectly I just always use 357's without an adapter but I think this adapter takes up the extra space in the cell compartment since they are a bit smaller than the original 355's. Alternately you can buy RW-25 Adapters, they are a one time purchase, and will last a lifetime. TheSR44/357 will typically last over a year. At the end of its life, simply replace the expired SR44/357 with a fresh one.

What kind of battery does the texas instruments model 101 watch use?

I am pretty certain that this watch uses two #386 silver oxide button cells. Alkaline cells would work, too, but they'd burn out more quickly--not that batteries last all that long in this watch, anyway. I'm basing this on the slightly newer (~1976-78) plastic-bodied TI LED watch that I have in front of me that I believe contains the same time keeping module as the original model 101.

It is also possible that the earlier watch would have taken #357 batteries, which are the same diameter as #386 cells but slightly taller. Both battery types were popular in LED watches of the time. However, I would suggest starting with #386 cells, as I destroyed the case back of a plastic TI LED watch many years ago by trying to use #357 batteries instead of the slightly smaller 386s. Both batteries put out the same voltage, so the watch will light up with either. However, the case back won't close if the battery is too tall--and if you force it, you can bend, distort, or shatter (in my case) the all-but-unobtainable case back.

Have fun with this watch! Mine still lights up and keeps good time.

What type of battery do I need for a Rado watch (111.0322.3) - thank you.

Examine the markings on the battery. It is likely to be a 1.5-volt Silver Oxide or Alkaline battery. It doesn't matter which one you use, although the Silver Oxide battery can handle heavier energy-consuming loads, such as a multifunctional chronograph. It can be purchased from amazon, here: watch battery 1 5V silver oxide 357 SR44 SR44SW 10 pack. I hope this was helpful. Cheers
