Try your speakers on another system to make sure speakers are working.
Make sure volume control on PC is not set on mute.
Make sure onboard sound is enabled in BIOS
Try re-installing the sound card driver.
If all this fails and you have a spare slot on your PC just purchase a new sound card for about $10.00 or so.

if the only speakers are defective in ur tv then may be use home theatre audio input pin to audio out pin of your tv to listen the sound
