The BA 735 Speakers I have are purely digital and will only work if your soundcard has a digital output, will not work through the normal analogue green socket .

Have you checked speakers on another computer. Get it checked first if it working on another computer or other device. If it working reinstall realteK audio drivers.

Hp 3500 no sound

If you have the speaker cord plugged in to the correct spot and your Realtek sound driver is loaded then there are 2 possibilities.

1. You speakers are bad. Try using a different set of speakers to confirm.

2. The sound output on your motherboard is faulty. You should bring the whole tower back to be replaced immediately.

Just intalled the speakers but can't hear anything

Here are some things to check for: -Is the power on? There will be a light on the speakers that show it has power. -Is the audio cable plugged in to the right spot? Most likely, the cable will need to be plugged in to a green colored jack on the back of your computer. -Make sure the volume is turned up -- it's the knob on the speaker that you turn.

It sound like you have connected them correctly however unless they are multi-channel speakers you should only have to connect the green cable. Check to see if the volume control on your speakers/monitor and also OS are turned up and not on mute and also check to see that you have sound drivers installed for your sound device/card.

No sound comes out of the speakers. They previously worked fine prior to moving

If you have a soundblaster or onboard sound card, be sure that the cord coming from the speakers to the computer is plugged into the green inlet in the back, not the black one. If you plugged into the black inlet there will be no sound from the speakers.

Speakers and controls are working but sound barely comes out.

Check the back of the computer. Typically this caused when the connection is loose or the speakers are plugged in to the wrong jack. The correct jack on a Dell is usually a light green color. The Microphone is pink, etc.

Sound won't work without the earphones being plugged in

Make sure the speaker volume is turned up and also go into Control Panel, Sounds and make sure nothing is muted and all volumes are turned up. Also make sure the speakers are plugged into the sound jack in the back of the pc. The speakers also need power but since the light is on, it sounds like they are plugged in.

No sound

2 things to check.
  1. Make sure if speakers have a power adapter that it is plugged in. That should give you the green light.
  2. Where the speakers plug into the computer there are multiple places in a row to plug it in. One is a microphone input, one is audio input, and 2 are for speakers (depending on the sound card you have). Try plugging it in different ones to see if sound works.

Make sure the green plug from the speaker bar is plugged into the green plug on the back of your computer. If it is plugged into the wrong jack you will not get sound. Hope this helps.
