SOURCE: NEED INSTRUCTION SHEET FOR LINE INSTALLATION

If it is a duel line trimmer then:

Cut two separate pieces of string, about 7 ft. each.

Stick the end of the line in the hole on the inside of spool.

Wind clockwise onto spool, putting the line that is closest to the ground on first.

Once you have winded this piece on, lock the last 4 inches of line through the slits on spool.

Repeat process for second piece of line, locking the last 4 inches in slot opposite the other locked in piece.

Put the spool on the trimmer, feeding the end of lines through either hole on trimmer.

Before you push the spool all the way on, pull the strings out of the locked position.

If it is a single line trimmer: Then just wind a single piece of string clockwise onto spool. This may need to be longer than 7ft.

SOURCE: Do you know where I can get a replacement remote for the Proxima

The projector is kinda old but your best bet would be ebay or call projector doctor. I know from time to time they have some old remotes.

My line won't rewind on my Shakespeare Encore reel. After casting, the bail snaps in place, but when I reel in, the line won't reel in. The spool turns with the bail, but doesn't retriev

Your line is on the wrong side of the bail. Rethread the line so its over the bail so that after the cast you flip it up it catches the line and retracts it.

Does not flip arm to lock to reel in line

Normally when you **** the bail, the reel allows you to discharge the line with a flip of the wrist. Then when you touch the crank and execute half a turn it releases the bail to lock the line and allow you to reel in. If this action is not happening, then the release pawl is stuck and holding the bail in place. You must disassemble the reel, clean the parts and re-assemble with proper lubrication. Checking the parts for wear replace all worn parts.

I have a Shakespear Tiger model TSP50A. I cannot set the on/off so that the handle ends up going both ways. I inspected the gears and suspect a manufacturing defect. I have had it for over 3 years but used...

Remove the spool, you'll find a little screw by a hex nut, remove the little screw then you can remove the hex nut. by removing this nut you will be able to remove the whole bail assembly. There you'll find the workings of the on/off leaver. There is a fine spring that raps around a brass piece that looks like a washer, looking at it from the side you'll see a grove in it, that is where the spring goes then to the leaver of the on/off control. This spring hardly has any spring to it so don't think it needs a replacement. If the spring is in place check to be sure that the knob isn't striped. Just take the little screw off that holds it in place and inspect it. I hope this helps!

Need a Popeil Pocket fisherman manual

For the original pocket fisherman. I believe the design has not changed. Once you do it the first time it is actually quite easy.

Two things to note. Read this whole thing first.

1) the location of the bail spring (Keeps the metal bail cover up so line does not get stuck when casting.

Note: This is important cause the metal bail cover must rise enough so that the line casts smoothly. (A complaint about this product. But when calibrated correctly it is quite good for what it is)

2) The little **** that the crank gear plastic housing will fit into (Must be on top when you put the whole bail back in. The crank shaft lip fits into that ****.You'll get it when you see it.

Remove the panel screws (2) as you did. Pop out the crank shaft (copper). **** is in top when replacing. (remember that). Remove the bail. On the top of the bail there is a screw. ( becareful and remember how the little metal bail spring in situated here. Turn upside down with metal bail cover in your palm as it conects to the bail spring). Pull off metal bail cover. The plastic line holder actually comes apart and holds a lot more line than you think. Replace line. Feed the line back up the rod. Assemble the opposite.

Need to know were the long spring on my sons spider man rod and reel goes

The long spring (only one in the reel) goes under the bail arm plate. To get it back in, remove the plastic cover plate on the side that pickes up the line (has a line roller on that side). The spring will fit over a small metal or plastic post and rest in a cavity at the bottom.
Screw the cover back on and you're good to go!
Best of luck
Mike

What do you do with the line before threading it through the eyes

Take the line off the spool in such a way that the line will be caught by the bail after you cast the line. The easiest way to get it right is to raise the bail like you are going to cast the line, thread the eyes, then trip the bail with the handle, as though you were reeling 'em in.
Happy fishing. I'm jealous.
Best regards, --W/D--
