Don't know how to connect capacitor

Locate the Run terminal on the compressor ( marked R ) that wire goes to one side of the run capacitor usually has a mark ... the other wire will go to the common bar on the selector switch. On the other side of the capacitor goes the Start Terminal of the compressor No other wire goes with that just one wire from ( S ) on compressor to capacitor. Hope this keeps you cool!

My kenmore mod#2539183511 chest freezer comes on @30 sec goes off for @3-5 sec tries again.Need diag help or wiring diagram.

Sorry to read about your problem. you can have many different problems.

a wiring diagram will not help you in this case. all 3 items below at at the compressor.
odds are you will have to have the compressor replaced.

1. Failing compressor
2. Defective start cap
3. Defective overload protector

I suggest you call a service company.

I have tried to help you. Please help me, by Vote/Rate my response. Thanks.

If you live in the Denver area, I can help you.

I have replaced a compressor in a maytag fridge model MBB2256GES and i have a blue wire and a white wire i know they go to the compressor and ther are three pins on the compressor what goes where

The start component assembly goes to the three pins. You have to have this assembly. Always shipped with a new compressor.

The 2 wires go the start kit, after it's installed onto the compressor. Doesn't matter how you use the blue and white wires. Just connect them to the relay start kit, where the old ones were.

Compressor tries to kick in but then stops.

it is a hard start compacitor, the unit is not supposed to have three compacitors.

Need copy of wiring diagram

There should be a wiring diagram tucked in a pouch under the bottom of the refrigerator.
If the compressor windings show proper resistance, my first guess would be a faulty start relay.
A 3-n-1 start may fix your problem.
This suggestion is "old school". I've been away from it for a few years.

first take all the relays and capacitor off of compressor , then attach black wire with terminal on "C" terminal post usually top terminal, white wire with terminal goes on "S" terminal post on compressor, red wire with terminal goes on "R" terminal post on compressor. then take the two black wires one connects to white neutral wire and the other connects to the black power wire if tis fridge has a condensor fan then you will also need to connect it two the two black wires also thanks hope this helps

Relay is clicking from the circuitboard(12v-832a-1cs-s)

When you unplug the unit, the compressor needs to equalize the pressure inside before it can be plugged back in. If you plug it beack in too soon, the compressor will not start untill this pressure is equalized. Sometimes compressors get harder and harder to start as they get older and it gets harder for the start relay to start the compressor. I am not a electronics tech but it may be that the compressor is just hard to start and my need a hardstart kit.
