Question about Office Equipment & Supplies
I just installed the officejet pro 8500 and it seems to be working fine and i can print in Quickbooks to the fax but not the printer itself. it shows it is printing then disappears. i tried reinstalling it, but it still won't work in Quickbooks. Any ideas?
Go to the printers folder, right click the printer and chose properties. Under properties go to the advanced tab and check off print directly to this printer. I work with HP and find this solves the problem of printer 95% of the time

my case was about installing HP 1220c printer on win 7.
default settings used to send the print job to the job queue but disappeared immediately. ur solution eliminated the problem
