There isn't anything there, it will show up then disappear without printing a thing. I can print in other programs but not Quickbooks.

If i put the printer offline it shows up in the queue but once i put it back online it disappears again. I've also reinstalled Quickbooks and that was no help either.

Yeah, I can print in other things and I've tried searching their online support with no luck, guess i'll keep trying. thanks!

Go to the printers folder, right click the printer and chose properties. Under properties go to the advanced tab and check off print directly to this printer. I work with HP and find this solves the problem of printer 95% of the time

Click on the printer's icon at the bottom right of the screen. Display the Print Queue.

You will probably find several print jobs in the queue. Go into the queue and either release the entire queue or release each job.

Okay, let's see if we can trap the print job. Place the print queue on hold.

First, make sure that this printer is your default printer. Next make sure that the driver is set to go to this printer.

Now go into Quickbooks page setup and make sure that the application is going to print to this printer.

Print the job. Doe the print job now appear in the queue?

Okay, we now know that the data is going from the driver to the print queue.

So the failure is occurring between the PC and the printer. Can any other application print correctly to the printer?

Either we have a hard failure on the printer or the application (Quickbooks) is causing you the grief. For that you will have to go to QuickBooks technical support.

Hi there,

  1. Open the QuickBooks sample company and try to print the same form or type of form. If it prints successfully, your company data, form template, or customized report may be damaged.
  2. Reopen your company file and try to print an uncustomized (standard/default) form template or non-memorized report. If the issue occurs again, refer to Verifying and rebuilding the QuickBooks company data and then attempt to print again.
  3. If you were printing a batch of forms in QuickBooks, attempt to print a single form. If successful, try printing smaller batches.
  4. If you were able to print from QuickBooks in the past from this company file:
  5. Turn off the printer, restart your computer, and then turn the printer back on.
  6. In QuickBooks, choose File > Printer Setup and check the printer settings for the specific form you're trying to print.
  7. Click Help in this area for more detailed instructions on these settings.
  8. Ensure that you have the latest printer drivers for your printer. Go to the manufacturer's website to download and install the most current drivers.
  9. Replace the QuickBooks Qbprint.qbp file:
  10. Close QuickBooks.
  11. Rename the qbprint.qbp file.
  12. Open QuickBooks and attempt to print again.
  13. If the issue persists, repair the QuickBooks installation.

Can't type date into .pdf file and print with HP OFficejet 8500

Maybe it is because of your PDF file is encrypted by author with owner password. In this case, you can remove the password by AnyBizSoft PDF Password Remover, and then print it again.
Hope it helps.

Quickbooks Pro 2007 Printing Blank Invoices

Go 'Lists' and then open 'Templates', double click on the product invoice and make sure the invoice is 'Active'.
Qbooks saves printer settings for each feature, regardless of which is set as 'default' in Windows...be sure you have the correct printer selected.
If the above are set correctly, go to HP's website and download the latest driver for your printer.
