That is a fairly normal code so it might have the memory intact but the error is definitely foreign. All I can think of is initialising it and start again so the program is wiped. Use the same code above but leave out the 4 (use another 0 in place of it) when you are following the init procedure. Good luck

There is no error by the number 194 in the standard firmware. Your machine has probably had a special firmware implemented for a special use. This doesn't matter too much as they will usually program the same way for all of the usual things. Firstly, I'd perform a flag clear which will jump the machine out of any tasks that it is currently waiting on. It doesn't lose any data so it is safe to flag clear.

1. Turn the machine off at the power.
2. Turn the key to the 'program' position.
3. Hold down the RECEIPT FEED button (keep your finger on it).
4. Turn the power on.
5. After 3 seconds, let go of the RECEIPT FEED button and press SUBTOTAL once.
6. Wait for print then turn key back to REG mode.
You will need to sign on to use the machine. Normally, you press one of the clerk buttons just above the keyboard to sign on unless it has been programmed for PIN number logon (you should have been given the PIN numbers if this is the case).
Once you have logged on, try making a sale.

If the machine gives another error, check the receipt that just printed. Let me know what the number at the bottom of the receipt is. It should show 'FC' then a number.

We can check the memory allocation.

Turn key to program mode.
5 SUBTOTAL SUBTOTAL (must press subtotal twice).

This will print memory allocation.
Look down the printout and tell me what figures are listed under file numbers 16 and 40.

PGMX means the machine is trying to print a current program report. It may have been interrupted. Try this procedure to jump it back out:
Turn key to PROGRAM mode. Turn power off at wall. Hold RECEIPT FEED down - keep your finger on it. Turn power on at wall. Wait 5 seconds, then let go of RECEIPT FEED. You should see "FFFFFFFFFF" on display. Press SUBTOTAL. Turn key back to REG mode (you may need to sign on if asked)

Ok. See if you can get rid of the buffer full error for a start. try pressing clear (C) then press Subtotal. You should see an amount on the display. Now press the ERR CORR/ CANCEL button. This should stop the sale that you are stuck in.
Turn the key to Program mode. If it gives error as you turn the key, then you haven't finshed in REG, turn back to REG and try to end the sale first.
If you see P01 on the display, it has worked and then do this:
1 SUBTOTAL 0 CASH SUBTOTAL 3 SUBTOTAL 0 CASH SUBTOTAL.
Now turn back to REG and try it.
If it still didn't work, let me know what happened, and I'll show you another method

Casio Te-4000F Error E050

You should first check that you entered the correct digit for check tracking and not scanning file when you typed in the init code. Check your init code by performing a flag clear. If that is ok, Print out the memory allocation (program 5) and make sure you have allocated memory for check tracking.

You have put too many items into a guest check (tab). Finalise (pay off) the check to free up the memory.

Are you new balancing before you try to log the second clerk on? Make sure you don't have the check tracking selected. You can use interrupt or tables, but not both.
