Question about Computers & Internet
It just emits 3 short beeps when any button is pressed -- "manual", "program", "quit", or anything else. It does not switch into the appropriate mode. The stored program continues to work, but we cannot reprogram it or override it. I found a fried bug that oozed all over some pins on one of the chips on the circuit board. Scraping that off did not resolve the problem. It is slightly possible that this shorted the chip out fatally.

a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
Best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of.(from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones)
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.

Does the keyboard still work? more often then not there is either something in the socket OR it is a bad socket.. Now depending on the machine you could try reseeting the configuration data in the bios.. I have seen this work with limited success Good luck

The beep code most likely is either video card or memory.
If you have a video card or can borrow one that you know it works try it first, if that doesn't resolve your issue try the memory.
You can take the memory out and have it tested to see if it is defective.
Go to this site and get the Beep Codes, http://www.computerhope.com/beep.htm
I hope this helps.
