On most machines you would normally just cut off plug to switch itself and connect those two wires together to bypass the switch . if that fails try starting with them separated , it will depend on switch if open or closed type.

SOURCE: have a cub zero turn 52 inch cut the blades wont

sounds like one of three possible problems ....one - there are safety switches that prevent engagement of the blades,,,,,two - the electric switch which engages the electric clutch blade pulley is bad....or three - the electric clutch blade pulley assembly is bad.....first.....make sure all ur connections are tight to the safety switches and electric clutchblade pulley.....then, if your able to read and follow a wiring diagram, get the wiring diagram for your tractor and a 12 volt probe light (with probe point end) with a ground lead....first, ground the clamp end to the frame and probe at the electric pulley clutch plug to see if power is getting there...if not...follow the wiring diagram to the next switch location the power lead comes from....if one side of the swtich shows power and the other side doesn't with the switch in the correct run position....then the switch or connection is bad.....if it probes okay...go to the next switch....follow this logic from both sides of the from the electric pulley blade clutch plug until you isolate the switch or plug problem....if everythin tested is good....then it's the electric clutch pulley assembly that need replacing.....hope this helps.....

SOURCE: Cub cadet Z Force 48 inch zero turn blades won't engage

I hope this will help you...under the side panels on each side of the mower, there are "reverse lockout safety switches", they are supposed to stop the blades when both handles are pulled back. If one or both of the switches are out, the deck will not engage. Also, under the right side panel (when sitting on seat) there should be 3 relay switches, the one closest to the motor controls the PTO., if this is out, the PTO will not engage.

SOURCE: cub cadet pto won,t stay engaged

Sounds more like a PTO clutch failure, rather than the switch. The clutch is mounted on the engine shaft, between the hydrostatic drive pulley (nearest the chassis) and the mower deck belt pulley (farther from the chassis).
Since it's an expensive part, make sure the problem isn't in the switch or wiring first. You could do that by probing the wires to the PTO clutch with an automotive test light - they are inexpensive and handy. Clip the ground wire of the test light to the chassis, and probe the hot wire to the clutch (it's the one that doesn't connect to ground) when the engine is running and the PTO switch is engaged. Obviously a helper has to be in the seat, and you should be careful doing this. If the light glows brightly, and the clutch doesn't engage, you definitely have a bad clutch. Good luck! Please rate my answer if helpful, thanks.

You first need to find out why this safety feature is being triggered rather than bypassing it for your safety.

My RZT 50 turns blades on when levers are pulled back instead of shutting of and shuts off when in forward position ? could it be a switch is bad if yes what switch?

Sounds like someone has been working on the wiring, probably trying to bypass the reverse cut out switches . If you follow your steer control lever down under the plastic console covers there will be a switch, one on each steer lever by where it hinges. I don't think the switch is bad because it would not work at all if it was.It is like a door bell switch, when you pull back on the steer control lever it pushes it in and disconects the circuit to the PTO switch and the blades quit until you push them forwards and lets the curent through again. Also check the push pull PTO switch .Every safety switch on the tractor will meet at that switch and plug into it, . That model cub RZT50 has to have the worst switches ever made, but they are available and cheap on ebay. Plunger Switch 430362 430 362 for Cub Cadet Troy Bilt MTD 700 Series 725... M60 cub cadet zero turn. What causes it to shut off?

There is also a safety switch for each of control arms, they both have to be in the neutral position. You may have to adjust the arms.
Are you checking the resistance at the switches?

How to bypass safty switch or jump wire on cub cadet zero turn ?

Before bypassing any safefty switches I would check the safetyswitch on your clutch pedal and seat, make sure that the pedal is pushing in the switch and the seat make sure its plugged in,rarely I have seen a safefty switch go bad unless the mower is stored outside and one could possible get rusty and go from there! good luck!!!

Check your safety seat switch. Unplug the wiring harness to the switch and place a paper clip into the harness. This will bypass the switch unless you have a continuity tester to test the switch.

Motor will not turn over by the key switch on my cub cadet lt 1045 but it will if i run a jumper from the battery to the starter post

When you jump the starter, you are bypassing the safeties.
Check the neutral/brake safety and the blade disengagement safety.
