Question about Dryers
Washer displays sd code and will not finish cycle. What is this?
The SD code means that excessive suds were detected. There are a few possible causes: 1) too much detergent, 2) not using a HE detergent, 3) something clogging the pump debris catcher (coin catcher) or drain, 4) a problem with the pump.
First try pressing Cancel and wait for any suds to subside. Then try the spin cycle again. If that works, try running the washer a few times with no clothing and no detergent. This will rinse any excess soap out.
Since the spin/drain cycle isn't completing, I suggest you prepare to pull the pump. Unplug the washer and remove the hoses (inlet and drain). Tape the door shut. You will need to tilt the washer onto the front (put some towels on the floor). Have a bucket ready to catch the water from the unit. Disconnect the drain hose from the larger pump you see by loosening the clamp. Look for any foreign objects in the pump. Similarly remove the inlet hose from the pump. To get the pump completely free, remove the end cover and remove the wire connector. Then remove the three screws that hold the pump. Check the pump again for foreign objects. Make sure that the hoses are also clear. If the pump doesn't work and there are no foreign objects, you probably need to replace the pump. If the washer is under warranty, contact Sears. Replace the pump by reversing the steps.
I hope this helps.

My washer keeps shutting off and flashing F1 error code. I haven't had it but a couple of years. I've always bought kenmore appliances and had very good luck with them. I'm very frustrated with this washer. It has never seemed to clean clothes that great even using HE detergent. Help!!!!!! It's a kenmore Oasis HE washer.

SOURCE: f2 error code
F-02 error relates to a malfunctioning user interface board, most commonly a stuck button.
Here's a link to the technical sheet for it which includes some tests you can run to determine the problem:

SOURCE: error code F44
The F44 error code on this type of dryer indicates a blower motor control board failure. Since it happens only occasionally, then you could have a loose wiring connection or a partial obstruction in the blower housing. Complete details of the troubleshooting for this error code are included in this link of a previous answer: What does the fault code F44 indicate on my Kenmore Elite Oasis dryer?
I recommend that you unplug the dryer and check the wire harness connections if you are confident that you can safely access the internal dryer components. If you find a loose connection, then tightening it or plugging the harness securely into the connection will likely correct this problem.
