Question about Frigidaire Dishwashers
Good Afternoon Bcolcott,
I see that you are hearing a whining noise coming from your Frigidaire dishwasher. I suggest giving your appliance a hard reset. You will do this by either unplugging it or cutting the power off at the circuit breaker for at least 20-30 minutes. When power is restored to your dishwasher, if you are still hearing a whining noise, I suggest you contact your local authorized technician. I hope this is helpful.

Tips for a great answer:
Thank you for your inquiry, Robert!
From the information you have provided your Frigidaire dishwasher makes a whining noise after the water has been pumped out. This could be a potential issue with your drain pump or motor. To pinpoint the issue you would need to disassemble your dishwasher and test each component and this would best be done with a certified technician. This will help you avoid personal injury or future problems. Best of luck! -Matt
