SOURCE: I have a Phillips MC/50.

There is a switch inside the changer that will not release. Most likely the plastic stop it rides on has broken off . This is common when the changer keeps shuffling the disc all the time

SOURCE: Sound distortion on medium volume with radio, cd, aux, ect.

The problem is in the audio driver or output stage which is normally an ic semiconductor, it is recommended that a technician look at the stereo to assess cost.

Low output with high volume

sounds like distortion is being caused by trying to amplify a low volume level from the input device. try putting the ipod volume at a medium level and try again to see if the distortion goes away/reduced

Sound of the recording after burnt to a cd is very low

adjust your top knob which is called the gain, this will allow the incoming signal to be muchlouder depending on where you set it , the bottom fader is for playback volume and mixing and you should also a avolume control for your head set , follow also the recording instructions in your manual for optimal settings , there,s no reason that your recordings should come out with low volume other then your gain control being set to low , hope i was able to help , if i was please leave a nice rating ,sincerely glenn mayer

My amp won't play distortion.

Hello all you have to do is turn your master volume down to just barley on then turn your pre amp volume somwhere about 2:oclock depending on how much distortion you want ajust your volume on your guitar a little past halfway to give yourself some headroom in case you need to turn up some while you are playing! just think of it as your guitar is your first pre-amp then your amp is second preamp in line ,that is your over drive ,then the master volume is how loud you want the overall volume i hope this help's ya!

Alpine pdx 1.1000 amp

These subs are dual voice coil I'm sure...make sure they are putting a 2 ohm load on the amp total, and also set your gain and frequency setting right. Set the frequency around 85 or 90, make sure the lo pass filter is on. Turn the gain ALL the way down and turn your stereo to the point right before your speakers distort....then slowly increase the gain until the subs are playing at full volume. This should not even be close to all the way up, and the subs should sound accurate and bold. Turning them past this point will cause distortion, in which case you should back off the gain a bit. Distortion causes power to cycle through the amp very rapidly and can cause blown subs and blown fuses. If you do not know how to wire both subs for a combined load of 2 ohms, please let me know what type of subs you have.
