It sounds like the machine is been set into "dough" mode (in this mode, it's desgned to finish after it completes the kneading stage).

Are you certain you have it in it's "basic" mode? If you have different modes available, try "whole wheat" and see if it works properly.

If it still stops, the circuitry is probably shot and it would be cheaper to replace it than to fix it.

Good Morning, my name is Ian. My Hotpoint Washing machine has been strong and reliable since I moved into a rented property 1 year ago. I placed a load in on a long wash, and within an hour all the lights...

It sounds like it could be the timer, but I'm not sure. I would go to a Hotpoint site and you might be able to talk to a tech or tech-support there.

How can I get the machine to start the bread making process from the beginning. It is currently stuck on knead.

Do you have your owners manual and have you baked bread in your machine before? Just want to be sure that you know the stages that the machine goes through. The first mixing and kneading stage in a tr444 will take up to 15 minutes before it stops on its own. It will then let the dough rest for about 1/2 hour before the 2nd knead begins. It takes almost 4 hours for your machine to go through all the stages before your baked bread is finished.

In the middle of baking cycle kneading starts for a little while and damages the loaf. How to fix this programm error?

Most bread machines do a little "punch down" before the final bake stage. The bake stage doesn't really begin until after the final 4-10 seconds of "punch down". Then the bake stage really begins and lasts about one hour.

Quite normal, all the ingredients need to come to the right temperature before kneading starts.

My machine was unplugged for no more than 3 seconds during kneading. it is quiet now and on ALERT. on a 5 hour whole wheat xl at 3:02. how do i restart it and move it off of alert

If you feel your dough has kneaded and risen enough, try pushing the stop button until it beeps. Then unplug and replug and select the bake stage and using the timer feature put enough time on the bake cycle to equal the bake time of your original whole wheat bake stage. That time should be on your page in the manual that shows the length of all the programs.

Re Panasonic SD-YD 200 Breakmaker -- Everything seems to be ok but after selecting the Start/Stop it sits idle. I don't feel the machine warming up, there isn't a "clicking" sound, the yeast hasn't...

Could be you are not waiting long enough, sometimes it can take several minutes, especially in a rest period. If you have the manual, it usually tells you what each stage of the breadmaking process is and how long the function takes.

Ive got a Salton SB 846 bread machine, that i had plenty of breadbaking pleasure.Suddenly the machine trips the main power supply when it is switched on??I have checked each and every wire connection. Can it...

You may want to try plugging in your breadmaker somewhere else in your house that is in a different area and start a program. If you have a bake stage choose that because it will pull lots of power. For example instead of plugging it in a kitchen outlet take into your garage or bathroom and turn it on there. If you still are tripping fuses then the problem is with your bread maker. If it doesn't trip the fuse or main doing that then email then you probably have too many applicances pulling power in your kitchen line that the bread machine was on. Hi fellow bread maker! Can you tell me which program you are using. Basic, whole wheat, sweet bread etc.?? Based on what you describe I think you may be choosing the whole wheat cycle because the stages you describe are almost exactly what my Toastmster does if I choose the whole wheat cycle. Hope this helps....

The breadmaker stoppes after kneeding ,nothing happens,no heat either the heating element will not even get warm?

There is a stage after kneading where the machine seems dormant and no or almost no heat is applied. This is the "Rise" stage. Do you have a copy of the manual that goes with your machine?
