Sounds like a valve issue. Recommend taking to an ASE certified mechanic. This fix is "EXPERT" level. If you are comfortable with pulling the heads off of your engine, get back to me, and I will walk you through it.

My Chevrolet Astro Van 1998 is exhausting BLACK SMOKE on starting. What could be the cause and solution. PLS HELP

Well over here in ireland when this happens it usually means that you engine need ti be cleaned.
There is two ways of doing this one is to leave it in for a full engine clean.
The other way is to get it out on the motorway and drive it extremely hard till you see a puff of smoke from it then it will take off very fast which means it is cleaned out.

Is there a mechanical problem with my 98 Ford falcon when accelerator pedal is flat to floor and when you release accelerator a puff of black smoke comes from exhaust

Probably not a problem as black smoke is a sign that too much fuel went into the engine. This is especially true when engine is cold and in choke or "cold start sequence".

2010 Chevy silverado starts hard and puffs smoke when cold

Black smoke is too much fuel. My guess would be that there is an injector that is stuck open draining the pressurized fuel into a cylinder or several cylinders. And that is a considerable amount of fuel. And it would account for the hard start because there isn't any fuel being pumped into the other injectors until the pump builds the pressure back up.

Rough start

It is getting extra fuel during cranking suggest to test the fuel pressure regulator it has a small tube on it if gas is in it then the diaphragm is ruptured.

Big puff of white smoke at start up after sitting for several hours.

white smoke is water
blue smoke is oil.
nest time try and smell the white smoke see if it smells sweet?
if it does its antifreeze.
and also black smoke is fuel (like a leaky injector )
hope this helps
