Question about Frigidaire Kitchen Ranges
My range has stopped working, if I leave it unplugged over night its good for about an hour. Then everything shuts down and I get the errors flasing f20 in the center display. f5 on 2 on the element displays. The other 2 elements display 00
Hello Heather, this is JK. I understand that you received two error messages, F20 and F5. Typically, the F20 error indicates a communication failure between EOC and ESEC system and the F5 indicates that there is a runaway temperature. Based on the fact that you received both error messages, you may need to replace the EOC (Electronic Oven Control). Hope this helps!

You need a new mother-board.
I had the same issue, it overheated my kitchen in a matter of minutes. If I didn't turn off the circuit-breaker, I probably would have had a fire - the heat being emitted was intense. The cost is running around $300. with tax and delivery. I'm not sure if I want to repair or purchase a new oven.

the burner must be replaced . easy job, open oven look under lip of stovetop there are two 1/4 inch drive nuts , remove them then you can lift the cooktop you will see the underside of the burner . its held in with two screws , carefull of the clips, there easy to loose . let the old burner hang by its wires . when you get the new one in move the wires one by one to the new burner ... you will need two people one to hold the top up and one to do the work . dont forget to turn power off to stove . part will cost around 100.00 should take no longer than 15 mins to do the job . have fun and good luck ........ please rate this answer i need votes to stay here , thanks
