SOURCE: my karcher pressure washer has lost its water power

I have the same problem. With mine I have to remove the tip that I am using then pull the trigger and then replace the tip and pull and pressure should return. I believe that one of my valves is sticking causing me to reprime the pump frequently. I am trying to clean or replace my valves to fix the problem.

I hope this helps.

SOURCE: the presure pump is not working.

Try to release the pressure from the wand. Take of the tip if you have to. If that doesn't work take the spark plug out and pull, oil may have gone into the valves. Clean the plug and put it back. It will clear, the smoke that is. Lemme know. Please rate me

SOURCE: excell r 2522 presure washer pump rebuild

I like http://www.ppe-pressure-washer-parts.com/excell-vr2522-replacement-parts-pump See pump upgrade and compare to rebuilding. Another good site is www.pressure-washer-parts.com. Piston seals usual begin by overheating from excessive idling. You might add a thermostatic relief valve to help this.

SOURCE: washer has low pressure. but can see pressure

Hello, W/D here.

Sounds like it may be air locked. Connect the hose to the washer. Connect the wand and hose to the washer. Open the supply water, and hold down the trigger on the spray wand. Be patient, this can take several minutes.
Now crank the washer.
Best regards, --W/D--

When I try to start my gas-powered pressure washer, its very hard to pull the crank and I cannot start the motor.

When everything is working correctly, and your washer has an easy start valve, (easy start valve will allow you to start the machine with-out having to hold open the trigger) the engine should pull easily. Some washers do not have easy start and you must hold open the trigger on the wand to unload the pressure in the pump. If you are holding open the valve and still have difficulty, remove the water supply and pressure hose and let out all the water. If still hard to pull most likely something has failed or pump is low/out or lubricant. If lubricant is ok, try reducing the pressure adjustment to minimun and try starting. If it is now easy to pull, problem is related to pressure regulator /unloader valve. Try adding oil to water inlet and let the oil displace out all the water within the pump and let it set for a while. Good luck

When trigger is pulled pressure goes up and down as long as trigger is held

When you start the pressure washer, having the water from the faucet at full pressure, apply pressure to the triger gently....this should allow the system to release the pressure gradually and keep up.....when you pull the trigger full throttle, it can cause the jurking sensation in system. If this does not resolve the problem you may have a bad empeller pump and requires replacement. Do not allow the pressure washer to run for more than a couple of minutes without water flowing thru is as this will burn up the motor )empeller pump). Good luck

Very low pesure

Make sure that all the air inside the hose is out, sometimes pressure washers have a hard time bleeding out the air. Lastly it could also be your pressure relief inside the valve body of the pump the spring can get bound up and basically stay on relief, like when you let off the trigger it doesnt just blow the line or stall the motor good luck\

Pull cord wont pull

ok i assume it is a gas powered pressure washer, if the pull rope wont pull out at all you either have a locked up motor or pump if it is out and wont go back in or recoil then the spring under the engine cover has either broke or come unwound.also if it wont pull out do youhave water applied to pump? if so turn off water and disconnect water hose to relieve pressure and try to pull it then then if it starts then apply water.

Pressure washer hesitates, does not start. Unable

get someone to keep the trigger pulled while you try to start it , its probably got presure trapped between the trigger and the pump.

alternatively turn off the water to the pump, pull the trigger to release any pressure trapped.

start the engine , allow engine to warm up, increase revs on engine then turn on water, should be ok then. Unless you have a problem with the engine that is!

I have a karcher 2400 psi pressure washer and it doesnt get water pressurized when pulling wand trigger.

the most comon problem with thease is a stuck bypass valve, this is the valve that alowes the water to bypass round the pump when the triger is closed, when they stick all of your pressure runs around the pump and not out of your nozzle,,
its located in the centre of the pump on the top, undo the 2 cap screws pull out valve greese and re fit

Won't spin - belt fine!

I had the same problem with my Bosch 2060, which is almost 6yrs old. After opening the back of the washer and inspecting, belt looked good and not loose. Spending several hrs on net looking for postings, most thinking replacement of motor brushes is the solution. Someone posted that the connector on the right side of motor (located under the tub) to the right side could be loose. I pushed on the connector to make sure it was tight. Powered up and went to spin cycle and was greatly relieved that washer began to spin. Thanks for whoever posted this simple fix.
