the line cannot be wound in once line is cast out or pulled off the reel, when no line is pulled of the reel it will wind round and sound good, but try to retrieve line back in it will not do so and it makes clicking noise, i think it could be to do with the pin that engages and disengages to allow line to be cast or wound in, it could be slipping but i'm not sure, hope this is of help to you.......kind regards pete.

We had this same issue with an open faced and when we pulled the top off the plastic gears were stripped. Now this may not be the case with yours, but you should try to tighten the drag then open it up and check the gears.

My needle came out at the end of the line and my casting on is gone. Help!

At the point where you are in your project of just casting on, it would be best to pull it all off and start over. Once it has lost the casting on stitches, it is difficult to go back and recreate them. After you have cast on and done your first row of knitting and you happen to drop a stitch, you can pick up the loop again with the needle without having to start over from the beginning.

Hi,

Unfortunately, the best chance you got of getting the tape out is to open up the video to release the tape.

How do you rewind while dictating with the Olympus DM 620?

To rewind, you simply push the rewind button. However, this does not rewind from the point you are at like a tape does, it goes to the beginning of the recording. Once you are in the play mode, pushing rewind will rewind from that point.

How do I stop my miele revolution s758 from cutting out

If you pull on the cord's rewind and it cuts in and out, then the repair we do is to remove the rewind which is very simple, .....only one screw holds it in place!

Turn the rewind over so you can push the white take up wheel for the cord, and it will feel springy.

They are too springy some times when out of the factory and the 120V contacts will not connect to the line voltage.

Once you have pushed the white wheel in but not too much, drill a small hole in the brown shaft and slide a cotter pin through.

Remember not to push the white take up wheel in too hard while drilling because it will be too tight and the rewind will stick when you try and push the cords take up button!!!!!!

I hope this helps as it is the fix we use and have not had one come back for the same problem again!

My line won't rewind on my Shakespeare Encore reel. After casting, the bail snaps in place, but when I reel in, the line won't reel in. The spool turns with the bail, but doesn't retriev

Your line is on the wrong side of the bail. Rethread the line so its over the bail so that after the cast you flip it up it catches the line and retracts it.

Cant cast the pinnacle platinum plus lp 100 fishing reel more than 15 feet because the line tangles. Any suggestions?

Sounds like your drag is too loose. Best way to get used to setting a baitcaster, in my opinion, is to put a 1/2 ounce weight on the end of the line and engage the spool. The line should drop to the ground freely, but not full speed - if too fast, the spool will continue to spin and you'll get that dreaded birdsnest. If it doesn't reach the ground, you need to loosen it more. Once you have it set, keep that weight on and go practice, using the thumbing process Parorae noted in the previous answer.
They take some getting used to for sure!

How do I wind trimmer line on double spoools for ryobi

Okay, so the good news is that YOU are probably not stupid. If you have a Ryobi trimmer like I do, it might have taken you a while to figure out the "secret" on how to rewind the line. If you only had to learn the lesson once, you are smarter than I am. (I'm leaving myself a note for next time).

If you wind the line the wrong way, you go through line really fast until it clogs up inside the bump head and you are forced to try again. The trimmer has an arrow on the spool for the direction to re-wind the line. Think of it this way, TURN THE SPOOL IN THE DIRECTION OF THE ARROW! Don't do what I did and rewind the line in the direction of the arrow, that would be wrong.

Whether this is a "mistake", a way to sell more trimmers/parts/line, or simply bad tranlation from Japanese to Engrish, it really doesn't matter. You don't need to buy anything with the exception of new line.

Good Ruck,

Mark
