The START pad begins any oven function. if the START pad is not pressed within 5 seconds after pressing a function pad, the Push to Start ["PSH"] indicator light will flash and the push to start tone will sound as a reminder. you can download a manual for your range at go to "owner center", scroll down to "manuals & literature" and enter your model number
Here are a few things you shoul look at and try to correct to make your oven work properly
Make sure the electric oven is plugged in properly.
Check that door closes completely and its latch is aligned.
Check that interlock switch in door works properly (required for activating oven).
There might be a blown fuse,replace blown fuse if it's accessible, or contact a service technician.
Inspect plastic coupling beneath tray.
Check ring and roller assembly for misalignment or debris.
Make sure that tray is sitting properly on turning mechanism.
If carousel motor is broken, contact a service technician
Make sure there's no aluminum foil or metal trim on dishware.
Food residue or burned spots can cause electrical arcing. Clean chamber thoroughly. Replace wave-guide cover if burned or carbonized.
Sand away burn spots, and smooth rough metal edges.
Touch up spots with microwave interior paint if necessary.
If chamber has burn holes, contact a service technician.
If you hear an unusual buzzing noise, the magnetron (the component that actually generates the microwaves) or other electronic module may be broken. This is not easily fixed; contact a service technician.
The oven temp switch should be replaced.
This switch has a long tube which goes from the switch to the inside of the oven. The switch can be replace without much of a problem but, feeding the new tube down to the oven can be tricky sometimes. The old tube will come out but you have to find the same hole to put the new tube back through, sometimes this will go through insulation and you can't see the hole where the old tube came out. It's not hard to do just be aware of this problem.
