Question about Tablets & eReaders
My nexus 7 started taking longer to start and now not at all and dosent show any thing when the charger is plugged in I tried the hard reset and nothing and then tried the unplug the battery for 15 seconds and nothing it is about 16 months old could it be the battery itself
It could be the battery, have you tried another charger? Perhaps a more powerful charger? If not take to a reputable repair shop

Charge your nexus using the ASUS wall charger that came with your nexus.
Once you connect your Nexus to the wall, just push the power button once (do not hold). A battery animation should appear showing that the tablet is charging. Let it sit for a while, then power it up.
If you suspect it's a hardware problem and if you feel comfortable opening up your device, please let me know so I can give you a step by step walk through to figure out what exactly is going on with your device.
