It realy depends on which program that called for the active X, it may have set activeX to manual permision. The is no harm to your PC or software it just a major pane in the ****. The only thing you can try is uninstall activeX and reinstall it, but the program that set it to manual permision might do it again, nothing can be done about that it's a maufacture setting. GL hope this helps.

When i go to microsoft office i got stucked because i m asked to enter my product of 25 digits . which i m not aware of. which number is it ? always when i want to type it requires 25digits

This code is the activation code for your software and is the Microsoft licencing security. Look in your office software box, there should be a licence code which is shrinkwrapped and has a hologram security feature on it too. Your 25 digit code will be on the back of this.

My autocad 2010 asking for activation code and i dont know were i can find it

The activation code is generated when you put the serial into the "activate now" box. It should appear but if it doesn't, call Autodesk and they will generate one for you very quickly. I have always had problems activating clients AutoCAD and almost always have to call them or email them.

Installing norton360

NIS08 has a specific system requirement. has your system passed this?

in regards to everyones posts,

your issue is a fail installation and thus requires you get get rid of all the temp files in your %temp%,temp, prefetch folders.

to do this.

start>run>%temp%>delete everything here...
start>run>temp> delete all
start>run>prefetch
somethings there are actives files(currently being used by other programs), so just restart your computer to delete this later.

when done doing this, you have a higher chance to have a successful installation.

everything is in the norton site including the removal tool for failed installations.

if for failed updates... download the intelligent updater.

if you have other questions.. post them here..

Canon pixma ip2500 printer

Hello,

Go to this page for your driver set.

Check off the "I Accept" box and then click on the download software link. It is 8 and a half Megs in size.

Download it to a unique folder or if it goes to your default download folder, then move it to a new folder you create in advance called
c:softwareCanonip2500

Before you install this software, remove the software, if any, you have installed now from Add/Remove programs. If there is no entry there, go to Start Menu, Printers and Faxes and right click the IP2500 and choose Delete. After that clean your registry up to remove any unwanted entries using this free program:

Download free SS Registry Cleaner. Run the cleaner by choosing the Fix option and this will remove any stray entries from your previous installation, if any.

Before you install the Printer Driver, disconnect the USB cable or Firewire cable and do not connect this until prompted to do so by the installer program or the installer has finished completely. This is quite important so please be aware of that undocumented requirement.

Once completed, restart your machine and you should be able to print.

Run these utilities now and after every cartridge replacement.
Run Head Cleaner(s)
Run Print Head Alignment.

If you have drag out on your paper (ink streaks) run the head cleaner a few more times. HP makes a special paper that is intended to clean the rollers. You don't need to do the print head alignment but once upon a cartridge change but the print head cleaning utility may need to run at least twice, but more often than not three times. If you see an option to do a deep head cleaner, run that instead.

If you have any questions or need some help in this process please use the comment box below to ask me.

If you need the associated software for picture editing let me know and I can post a link to that also.

Regards,
Worldvet

How to bypass some of the features

Don't let them rip you off for $100 - all they're doing is changing the spot that they connect one harness wire into the car:)

DVD head units have one extra wire in their wiring harnesses, compared to a standard CD head unit. On mine, it's a peach-colored wire, and is the activation wire for the DVD feature. During the installation, the instructions call for this wire to be tapped into the emergency brake indicator light wire. The reason is this:

The e-brake indicator light is what is called a "ground complete" circuit. That means that the bulb always has power applied, but when you pull the brake, that puts a ground to the wire and completes the circuit, allowing it to illuminate. The head unit sees this ground, and activates the DVD player.

In my Jensen unit, I simply ran this wire to a ground (I used a screw near the fuse box), and I put a switch on the wire, so I could break the ground contact at will. Jensen calls for a procedure to activate DVD playback. In their instructions, they tell you to select DVD from the option menu, and when the "lawyer screen" comes up (the one warning you to park before you watch a movie), you release the e-brake for 3-5 seconds, and then reapply it. To simulate that with the switch I used, I leave the switch closed (activated), and select DVD. Then I flip the switch "off" for 3-5 seconds, and flip it back "on". This tricks the head unit into thinking I put the e-brake off for a few seconds and then put it back on, and the movie will start. Then I can drive away.

Basically, ground the wire that is used for DVD activation, and put a switch inline on it. Then you can break and reapply the ground in whatever manner is required by the manufacturer of your head unit. If there is no off/on sequence with yours, as there is with mine, simply ground the wire to a screw inside the dashboard and you're done.
