What do I do to Eclipse fix mp3 when it diplays "Disk Error!" upon attempting to play music?

Presumably the error is caused by a hard disk drive? In which case the hard disk will need to be checked. If there are options to do this use them. Otherwise the drive might need to be replaced.
If you bypassed the normal way of putting music onto the drive, then it might have corrupted the drive.
If there is an option to reformat the drive that might work. Or if there is a factory reset, that might correct it.
If you have music stored on the drive, which is not found anywhere else, then I think it will have been lost for good.

Hi , hope someone can help. I am having problems with my eclipse avn 5500 navigation system reading the disc. It keeps saying check disc. Its the original disc not a copy. I did disconnect the car...

When the eclipse was installed the owner registered a disk for security reasons..... when power is disconnected the only way to resolve it is put the registered disk in!

I have a eclipse avn7000 and apparently I put a cd in it that the radio cant read, and it wont let me eject. I can hear the radio trying to read the disk at all times unless power is off. Is there a reset...

There is a reset button just to the right of the CD slot, it looks like a reverse dimple. use a ball point pen and push it in and hold for 3 seconds. when you release it, all the settings will go back to default and you will loose preset stations, however, it should release or play the disc. Hope this helps
