Log into the accounts you want removed and go into settings. There will be an option to deactivate the account and once you click this, that account will be removed. Obviously you will need to do this for both the accounts you no longer want. Hope this helps.

Incidentally, when you are logged into Facebook, there will be an upside down arrow at the top right of the blue bar - this is what you need to click before a dropdown bar will appear and you will see the settings button.

If her account is still open (not logged out) then you can logged out from ither page, and then log in your account. To log out, you need to open the FB page and go to "account" on the top right, then select "logout" from the dropdown menu.

SOURCE: Dear Sirs: I want to use "facebook" and I am told

Go to facebook and sign up for it. Wait for an email and confirm it. Then go find friends you know on facebook. I have it (jwwebster). It is nice because instead of email you can pull up a bookmark facebook friend and send them an IM without all the bs you get using ym. It's nice.

Is it possible to delete VERY old account on qeep mob without access to email or password? i want to remove my old profile pic form internet...

You will need your passwords to change any settings. I doubt they can help either as the account is setup on your old email address. Why not re start your old email address and email the company for a new password.

I seem to have 2 Facebook accounts. My password will not let me log in - how to cancel one account please??

There is no permanent deletion of any Facebook account. The ONLY option you have is to "deactivate" your account, but no matter how much time passes NOTHING will be deleted. All it takes to bring back your entire account and EVERY association, no matter how remote, is to log into Facebook using that account's email and password just as you left them.

Once you make a Facebook account, you are stuck with that account until the end of time.

To drive these factual points home, I did exactly what I described above to my account, which had previously been dormant for more than two years. Attached are screenshots showing said process in a sequential manner.

The only glimmer of hope you have in lieu of "permanent deletion" lies in the tedious and intentionally difficult process of deleting your posts, pictures, friends, pages, and the kitchen sink one-by-one, with each item deleted requiring a minimum of three left-clicks.

How can I delete an old Facebook account

Log into the account you want to delete and then go to settings. You will see an option in there 'deactivate account' - click this to remove the account. After 60 days the account will be permanently deleted but before this time, it cannot be viewed or accessed unless you decide to reactivate it. In other words, if you really don't want the account then deactivate it and just forget about it!

Ive been trying to delete my facebook account and im really having a hard time with it pleaseeee help me to take care of this

There's not really anyway to completely delete your facebook account immediately, but you can deactivate it which will remove all references to you from facebook, and I think after 90 days of being deactivated, it will delete your account.

To deactivate your account, go to your Account Settings from the account dropdown menu in the top right corner. At the bottom of the Account Settings page, you should see the link to deactivate your account.

I just want to remove my old facebook account and want to create a new one.

If you wish to delete your facebook account permanently, click HERE and click the "Submit" button. Do this while you are logged in. Please also note that once this is done, you can't undo it or you can never get back your account. I can't assure how long it will take, but most of the time, it takes less than 24 hours. I can't also guarantee whether you will be able to use the old email address to sign up for a new account or not.

Let me know if you need further help.

Good Luck.

Thanks for using FixYa.

Delete former user from laptop

Hi lily - If your running Vista here's how :

1. Log onto the computer using an account with administrator privileges.

2. Click the Start Button.

3. Click the picture associated with your account at the top of the menu.

4. Select Manage another account.

5. When the UAC box pops up, click Continue.

6. Select the user account that is to be deleted.

7. Click Delete the Account.

8. You will be asked if you wish to keep the files from the deleted account. To save the account's desktop and personal files to your desktop, click Keep Files. This will place the files into a directory with the account's name onto your desktop. Otherwise click the Delete Files button.

9. Click Delete Account.

If your Running Xp here's how:

Log on as you( by now I think everyone knows they should give themselves adminstrator priviledges)

Start>comtrol panel>user accounts>pick an account to change>delete account.

If this solves your problem PLEASE rate this as fixed. If you need more help just add a comment and I'll be happy to assist you further. Thanks.
