BI need to replace some of the eyepieces...what did the 60AZ originally come with? and where can I purchase them?

You can buy eyepieces from many on-line retailers. Eyepieces come in 3 sizes .965, 1.25 and 2 inch sizes. The .965 size is harder to find. Measure the HOLE in the focuser or the diagonal and buy the correct size.

Here is one on-line retailer that sells eyepieces:

How do you operate a meade telestar model 60E0 telescope

This is a very simple refractor telescope. Just put the eyepiece into the focuser and point it. The smaller the number written on the eyepiece the GREATER the magnification.

I need to find an Eyepiece for my grandsons TeleStar 60AZ-A

Most telescopes use a standard size for eyepieces (one and a quarter inches outside diameter) and if that is the size of the mount in your scope, you can use any that fit. If you do a search on Amazon, you will find hundreds in this size, many of them branded Meade. The other dimension specified will be focal length. 5mm will give high magnification (but dimmer and harder to use) while 20mm will give lower magnification with brighter image and less fiddly focus.

I have a Meade telestar 114mm reflector. F=1000 f/8.8. There is what I believe is a correcting lense element located at the bottom end of the focuser tube that has come loose. I need to know which side of...

That is called a diagonal.. It slips all the way into the focuser, then the screws are tightened to hold it there.

The eyepiece then goes into the diagonal.

My meade telestar eyepiece fell apart .how do the lenses go back in?

Almost impossible to say without knowing the exact eyepieces you have. If there are flat "sides" put the two flat sides together; then try exactly the reverse.

You can always buy another replacement eyepiece from many on line retailers.
