I can't remember I only know the brand is LG and I really want to put antena but I'm not sure what noel number my tv I really need your help on how can I buy that so I will it in the philippines for...

You should not need a model number of your TV. Antennas usually work with any TV. You just have to know what kind of connection is on your TV. Is it a cable connection or is it just a wire connection? It will say "antenna out" on your TV. Then find the right kind of antenna to hook up to.

I have reprogramed a LG tv and it keeps says no signal after receiving 5 to 11 stations

Sounds like you need a better antenna or an amplifier for you antenna. But check first you antenna coax connection to make sure the electrical connections are tight. Also check your coax for breaks in continuity. You can do this with an Ohm meter. You should have near zero resistance center to center of the coax and same for the out shield. More likely the problem is not your coax but a weak signal from over the air. Also check to see that your antenna selector on your TV menu is not set to Cable but rather Air assuming your are wanting to pick up free over the air signals and not cable.

My LG Television does not recognize local over-the-air stations.

somewhere in the main menu it asks for input . that needs to be set to antenna or air .once you find that and put in the right kind of input then do the autoscan.

Make sure you are connected to a good digital antenna, roof mounted and pointing to your local transmitter. If in doubt, have a qualified TV engineer come and check your antenna. It may be slightly out of alignment.

Hi,

Sometimes these types of issues are difficult to troubleshoot remotely (in this case, you've got 4 potential points to address: TV, dongle, router and ISP.)

If your TV and/or dongle utilize specific ports outside of the "norm," you may need to manually configure your router to allow for this.

Depending on the distance your AP/router is from the TV/dongle, the signal may not be strong enough. (Or, the signal coming from the AP may be present--you can confirm this with another wireless device--and maybe it's just the dongle itself has a poor range.)

Also, the dongle itself may be defective. Generally, there is some form of configuration that needs to be done, one way or the other, either on the computer, or on the TV itself (like a setup option).

Most likely, it's not an ISP-related issue.

Also, try to contact Sharp Technical support. They should be able to give you some recommendations that may prove helpful.

If all else fails, see if you can track down one of the dongles listed as being compatible in the TV manual, or find a dongle that's advertised as being compatible with your specific television, as that might be your best bet.

Good Luck!

How can I extend the router's range?

Most routers have about 200m range. However, the actual range in real-time environment is much less. Generally the antenas are omni-directional, however, directional antenna can be used to improve range in one direction. There are two ways to increase the range/ coverage area (i) Adding external antenna of appropriate type (ii) Installing additional Access Point (AP) connecting it with the existing AP wirelessly in line-of-sight (creating WDS) OR connecting the two APs with wire, which is a better option as it provides robust and reliable connectivity between APs.

Based on my on-site experience, I suggest that you may relocate the AP to another location depending upon your network environment. It has always helped me a great deal. Placing the AP at the desk level, avoiding obstacles such as concrete pillars, walls, steel cabinets etc in the signal path have remarkable effect on range and overall performance of the network.

HOPE IT HELPS...Let me know if you need any further clarification assistance specific to you AP make and model. Don't forget to rate the solution if I could have been of any help!
Goodluck!

Antenna required to connect ap 530in 802.11a mode

The manual for this AP states "If both Radio 1 and Radio 2 are set to the IEEE 802.11b/g mode, Radio 2 must be configured to an external antenna."
802.11a mode is only supported on Radio 2 per the documentation.
