Why does the full bag indicator not work

Usually means there is something blocking the suction (like something stuck in the hose). Try taking the hose off and turning the vac on. If the indicator doesn't go to full now but does when the hose is on, something is in the hose. Usually it's right in the curve of the handle. If your model has a suction relief on it, try opening it up and looking in there. You can also put the hose on the exhaust and try to blow out what is stuck but do this outside as it can get messy.

We have a DC 21 bagless. There's suction when the hose is not attached. When the hose is attached, there's no suction. We've tried to determine if something is stuck in the hose, but without success. Is...

If you suspect the hose is blocked, I would push stiff wire through it (gently) you dont want to puncture the hose.I have had so many blocked hoses in v/cleaners ( I service them) . try blowing through it. Sound silly but why not. I have had hair grips, paper, pencils, sweets, coins etc stuck in the bend of v/cleaner pipes.

I have the dyson animal. There is something stuck in the wand tube and everyting is getting caught on it. There is very little suction from the wand. How do I get the wand apart or somehow get the object...

Yes, things stuck in vacuum hoses are not always as easy to remove as one might think. Trying to push it out with something can be counter-productive, and only get the thing stuck tighter! If you have a second vacuum, you can try sucking it out the way it came in (and risk getting it stuck in the other machine. Or you can try pulling it out, using a wooden stick with a small hook screwed in the end. If you try a piece of bent wire, you must be careful not to perforate the hose. Usually just requires a bit of ingenuity.

How to get a stuck bottle cap out of a vacum hose

hi there. You will need to slide something into the hose and force the bottle cap out. You can use something like a garden hose if it will fit, or a dowel or a piece of metal rod. If you don't have anything like that go to a home depot and find something that will work.

My Kirby G3 makes a loud, high pitch whistle with the hose

I would say you either have something stuck on the impeller or there is a piece of paper or something stuck inside the hose. its not clogging the hose but when the air passes by it. It is making that noise. If you find nothing you may need a repair. May have a bad bearing in the motor. Actually you can also try inspecting the brush on the head. It removes easily from vacuum and should spin freely and quietly.

Clogged Hose

Hi, this sounds like you have something stuck quite firmly in the hose!! If you use a good sturdy stick then you should be able to move the object without any damage to the hose. Check along the outside of the hose first just incase something has pushed its way out of the hose wall.
