Try following these steps to reset your FLD (flow limiting device)http://www.edyoungs.com/edyoungs/troubleshoot_tank.htm and then carefully follow the lighting instructions. If it works for you I think you will find this is a GREAT grill! Happy grilling and eating!

Weber sells conversion kits. Basically, you need a new regulator and manifold to accommodate LP instead of the existing regulator/manifold setup for natural gas. Unfortunately, Weber does not sell their parts online. Their parts phone # is: 877-731-8081

Converting a propane grill to a natura;l gas grill

You will need a larger gas manifold (you need more natural gas to do the same work as propane) and a new regulator. Your local grilling store should have both for around $50. But running the gas line can be big bucks and your grill is not going to be as hot - I wouldn't do it.

Low flame - doesn't heat enough

Hi, Patty. The low burner flame on a natural gas grill an be caused by several things.

1. The gas line shutoff valve is not fully open.
2. The burners are clogged and need to be removed and properly cleaned
3. The venturi valve(s), which has spider screens may be clogged.

The things listed above are the top 3 reasons for the low burner flame problem on a Natural Gas Grill.

To help you accomplish the cleaning of the burners and the venturi valves, I have included a link to your Owners Manual, that you can download & print for future reference. It has detailed instructions and diagrams in the Maintenance section, that will show you how to accomplish this.

Hope this helps you to solve the problem. Please let me know. Thanks and Happy Grilling!!

New Tank won't light Weber Grill

Try checking the regulator, this is the round metal piece connected to the gas line. If this is not level flat the valve inside will not let propane flow through.

Natural gas grill blows out in wind

Hm. Didn't like the idea of putting duct tape on my brandy new weber but thats what I did to keep the burner lit today in the wind. The 4" open area on the back, covered it with three strips of duct tape. Also stuffed aluminum foil in the right side to somewhat plug that crack. Trying to cook the ribs slowly (low flame on the second burner only which usually gives me about 225 degrees) and its windy as heck today. I surely don't plan to leave the duct tape there. Will probably invent a metal thing that slides up and down to cover that gap.
