Re: Running lights honda civic

Have you checked your bulbs? fuses? the control unit is not the problem.

At power up, tv scrolls uncontrolably through channels, power light flickers

1. Take remote control far away from tv - 3rd or fourth room. Then switch on tv. If uncontrollable scrolling stops , then cause may be remote button (Ch+ or Ch-) has got dirt inside and its shorting.

2. If taking remote far away doesn't stop scrolling then (Ch+ or Ch-) button on front pannel has shorted. Take a cutter plier and care fully remove button from its circuit board. ( If you know desoldering, it is far better than cutting). If scrolling stops then you can operate channel change with remote.

The rear camera have two wires: one is Video AV2 and the other is black/red color, OK. Now, my question is:Where to connect the black/red wire? Thank you.

This is the power connection.

You need to connect this to a 12v switching circuit to enable the camera to overide the current display.

For example, you could attach it to the reversing light switch in the gear box so that when you select reverse the picture is over ridden with your camera view. Or to the reversing lamp. You could connect it direct to a switch for manual control.

My car stops on motion

several things it could be
alternator replacement
relay is bad
computer going bad
over heat saftey feature thats killing the power so you dont crack your block
make sure your fan is running and hook power to fan direct to an power fuse this is when you turn the key to on the fan starts running you can also add a toggle switch to cooling fan so when in accessory it wont run down battery
your vehicle is equipeted with an electric cooling fan if this shuts off your vehicle over heats and shuts off
this ensures vehicle is always running cool

Rear speakers dont play with connection box

I believe this is a wiring incompatibility problem. The reason I say this is because when the mp3 player is out the jack which contains switches engages the front L&R and the Rear L&R, when the plug is inserted into the jack the jack switches should remove the audio input to the amplifier and replace it with the audio from the mp3 player. The switches should then send sound to the front L&R and the Rear L&R but the only change should be that the mp3 player is switched in instead of the audio from the raido unit. what is happening is that the jack switches are only switching in the front L&R speakers. This just might be a function of the unit. check the owners manual. here is a site that has the manual:
