I also had the same problem... the display showed "Ch" i pressed the up and down arrow keys for few seconds and then the "Ch" went off... but i am not sure why it was displaying "Ch" is it only an indication to clean the air filter or an indication of some other problem in the AC...??? does somebody knows what "Ch" indicates..??? do i need to call the samsung technicians...???

HI!

Appearance of "Ch" on the AC screen is an reminder to clean the AC filter. Whenever it appears you clean the filter and connect the AC to power but, do nut run it is (it should be in switch off mode but, connected to power).

After that press the up and down buttons together on the control panel of the AC (not on the remote) till a beep comes from the AC.

I spoke to the Samsung Customer Technical Support Team and they informed me that the Ch appears as a reminder to clean the AC plastic filter. After that is done the Ch sign still remains on the display. This is normal. To get this off (now that the filter has been thoroughly cleaned) is to press the up and down button on the AC (not on the remote) for 4 seconds. The display will then disappear. It worked fine for me. Samsung also confirmed that this is no sign of a malfunction of the AC but just a reminder.

Key disabled message

The Down Arrow and the View buttons are disabled on the T6050 as default because reverse paper feeding is not recommended on the T6050 printer because they only have one pair of tractors which are mounted above the platen. If the printer tries to reverse feed paper, it could cause a paper jam unless the platen gap is open sufficiently to allow the paper to feed down through the gap unhindered.
You can enable reverse paper feeding if you are sure that a paper jam will not occur. This is done as follows. Set the printer to Offline. Press the Mode key: display will show Offline Normal. Press any Arrow key until display shows Offline Oper. Press the Forms/1 key. Press any Arrow key until display shows Oper Forms. Press the CPI/2 key. Press any Arrow key until display shows Forms RevPap. Press the LPI/3 key. Press any Arrow key until display shows RevPap Enabled. Press the Enter key and reverse feeding will be set. Set the printer to Online. Once the reverse paper function has been enabled this option will need to be saved to prevent the setting being lost when the printer is powered off. To save the Menu Configuration; Put the printer OFFLINE Press the MODE button, then press the DOWN ARROW until CONFIG is displayed Press FORMS/1, then press the DOWN ARROW until PRINTER is displayed Press CPI/2, then press the DOWN ARROW until SAVE is displayed Press LPI/3, and with POWERUP shown in the display, press ENTER.

Printer stops printing while data still in buffer

I would suggest the porblem may be associated with Bi-Directional Communication.

Bi-Directional Communication can be turned off on the 6312 in the following way;

o Set the printer to Offline.

o Press the Enter and LF keys together for approx 3 - 4 seconds. The alarm will sound. (Tech Access On)

o Press the Mode key: display will show Offline Normal.

o Press any Arrow key until display shows Offline Config.

o Press the Forms/1 key.

o Press any Arrow key until display shows Config Paralel.

o Press the CPI/2 key.

o Press any Arrow key until display shows Paralel Bi-Dir.

o Press the LPI/3 key.

o Press any Arrow key until display shows Bi-Dir Off.

o Press the Enter key and the interface will be set.

o Press the Clear key.

o Press the Enter and LF keys together for approx 3 - 4 seconds. The alarm will sound. (Tech Access Off)

o

This would need to be saves to your configuration so this setting is not lost when you power the printer OFF, of if the printer is reset.

You should also be able to access a Web Page on the Axis Print Server and will be able to change paralle interface settings set this to Uni Directional or disable Bi-Directional Communication
