SOURCE: Can raw chicken give my dog worms?

It is widely believed that giving your dog raw meat of any kind will eventually give it worms; however dogs are meant to be wild and what would they do if they were in the wild? Exactly they would more than likely kill something and eat it. That being said I always give my dog chicken skin but I do boil it first.

SOURCE: small worms in dogs

That may be flea and ticks, you should remove these worms. These tiny bloodsuckers can make your pet's life miserable and can even spread profanity. This could cause serious harm to your dog. This is the reason why it is a great idea to be equipped with all the right flea and tick products so that you eradicate them the second they infest your pet. By doing so, you will save your pet from a lot of pain.

SOURCE: Does it matter what kind of treats I buy for my dog?

Yes, it matters a lot. What food you are giving to your dog is directly related to his overall health. Your dog needs food that is rich in protein and essential vitamins.
Look for treats made from all natural ingredients. I prefer natural treats like Himalayan Dog Chews .
They are safe as contain natural ingredients like Yak Milk, Lime Juice, Salt.

Hi. My dog won't take his worming tablet even mixed n food. I've heard that nexgard spectre chewable tablets may be the answer as they are given as a treat. What do you think?

They work, sometimes, but if your dog is to picky it doesn't do any good. However, I've had luck sicking it in a small peace of hot dog, just cut the hotdog in to bite size peaces and act like it's a treat. Get the dog excited and doing good and toss him a treat with medicine.
On the other side,
I have 1 dog that nothing works on, not chewables, not hot dog. I have just open his mouth and push the pill back in his throat. For this I purchase the smallest pill I can. I don't like doing it, but if it is back far enough he cant spit it out. If you grab his mouth correctly then you don't have to worry about him biting you either. I do it with a full size Doberman.

My dog has heart worms how do i kill them without spending $350 at the vets

Hi Carolyne,You will have to take your baby to the vet and have them treat it and hopefully they can get rid of them, there's nothing you can buy to get rid of them.I have 3 Yorkies, and every month I call my vet to get 3 doses of TRIFEXIS,you can only get this thru your vet, they have to be tested yearly for heartworms and intestinal worms. The test for each of my baby's is 32 dollars,it also treats it for intestinal worms and it controls fleas, they never had a flea in their life. You will have to spend the cost but you need to get your baby to the vet as soon as possible, also get a rabie shot, owning a pet is not cheap. The monthly TRIFEXIS is about 30 dollars per dog.Check this link out. I have a 5 week old puppy that's has worms.don't have money for vet what can I do to deworm a 5 week old puppy.

Pumpkin Seeds
  • Pumpkin seeds are used fresh, raw and without salt. They have long been known as an anti-parasitic (gets rid of parasites) in humans as well as dogs. They are not poisonous and contain many valuable nutrients.
Diatomaceous Earth
  • Food-grade diatomaceous earth is an excellent parasitic, it isn't poisonous, and can be given for several days without problems. Use as much as 1 heaping tsp. for every five lbs. of animal weight.

Black Walnut
  • Black walnut is a very effective cure for intestinal parasites, but it can be poisonous if taken too often and in large amounts. It doesn't take more than a few mg per lb. for each dog.
Wormwood
  • This is another common herb that's often used for getting rid of parasites--but like black walnut, it can be poisonous due to a high level of tannins. Careful use of wormwood will produce the desired results, but it should not be used often.

Is It Worms?
  • There are many signs of worms, from bloated stomach to bloody stool or excessive coughing. Worms are a serious condition if left untreated because they soak up all of the vital nutrients a dog needs to survive. However, the signs of a worm infestation are similar to many illnesses, and some are equally lethal. Know what you're dealing with before attempting to treat it. Take a fecal sample to your veterinarian to check for worms for a very small fee.

What are the methods adopted to clean up dog stool?

Best available method is to scoop the poop instantly using an automatic pooper scooper. I usually use a pooper scooper to clean up my dogs stool and deposit it in a garbage box or dispose it safely as dog stool if remained in open ground is found to cause harmful effects.

Should I give my dog pigs ears?

I have read a lot of forums about this and it seems as though they are not that popular among dog owners. A lot of them say that the pigs' ears make their dogs sick with loose stools and others say that their vets have told them that pigs' ears are crawling with bacteria. So I wouldn't advise you to give them. Check out this forum: http://www.dogforums.com/dog-food-forum/951-pigs-ears-bad.html
