SOURCE: bosch 18volt brute force cordless drill how do i remove chuck

Put the screw back in the chuck, tighten it up then back it out 1 turn. Take a punch, put it in the chuck and give it a quick hit with a hammer. That should do the trick.

SOURCE: how long do I charge my 18 v PSR bosch cordless

about 180 mins or an hour and a half. if the light does not change, just make sure you put it properly on the charger base and time it for charging. Disconnect it after you are done. Usually, the light on the charger is just an indication that it is powered on.

SOURCE: Bosch cordless drill PSR 120 12V will not charge up.

About the only indication if the charger is not working is when you put the batteries into the charger and no lights come on. This indicated that the charger is faulty. If the lights come on it is most likely the batteries. The best thing to do is take the batteries and charger to a Bosch service center and they will test them for you. Most will do this for free.

SOURCE: how to fix a dead battery charge for a Bosch drill

If the battery charger is the problem, there is not much you can do apart from checking the power cord and the internal glass fuse. If the cord delivers full power to the curcuit board, then remove the fuse and test it with a multimeter or an ohmmeter. If both is okay, I have no further advise then to replace it. Some times, it could be that the batteries are the ones to blame for a broken charger. Make sure your batteries are ok, so they do not destroy another charger. Check for capasity, excessive temperature when operating or charging, or strange smells indicating burnt components in the battery packs.

The motor windings in the drill are bad or have a bad connection. You may also try cleaning the battery contact points with a pencil eraser.

You are sure the battery is charged OK? Bosch Li-Ion drills have a feature whereby they stop working when the battery is low but not discharged right out. This is to extend the battery life as it does not like being flattened altogether.

This happens quite suddenly, from one press of the trigger to the next. It can make you think the drill is faulty.

If the battery charge is OK, then maybe
- trigger faulty
- motor burnout
- broken contact on battery or in drill battery shoe

Bosch cordless drill not working.

First The model is pretty new. you need to register your tool on line. this takes you from a one year warranty to a three year warranty. They will give you a pro-vantage number. with that said it sounds like a trigger switch. Yhe trigger switch is the brain of your tool. not only does it do your variable speed but it also controlls the brake and your fuel gauge. Because of the cost I highly recomend taking it to your closes Bosch service center.

Directions say green light indicates that the battery is fast charging only,it does not indicate at exact point of full charge. I let my batteries charge for 12 hours for the first time charging, found out myself the same way. Try that and you will notice the difference.

My battery charger doesn't charge. Any ideas?

You will to have your charging current/voltage checked in the first place., Use a multimeter and check the voltage of the adapter,. Next remove the drill unit and check the voltage on battery pack with the adapter and without. If there is increment of voltage on the battery then the charger seems to charge and your battery can be the suspect.
Change with the same AH rating.

When putting the battery in the charger the red and green lights flash indicating a bad battery, cannot charge battery.

Have you tried just waiting a few minutes, it might start to charge anyway. But if not, is there some reason you would assume that you don't have a bad battery? There are lots of bad Li-Ion batteries.
