You need to print the configuration page. Scroll through the menus on the printer until you find administration, then select reports and then configuration page. The engine cycles will appear in the upper left hand side of the first page that prints.

If you are looking for the page count, use the arrow keys until the display shows information, then press check mark, press arrows again until configuration page shows, then press checkmark. The config page has the page count on it in the left upper quarter of the page of information that prints.

how to retrieve the meter reading-
allow the machine to come to ready-
press the down arrow on the printer keypad ( information) then press tick -
press down arrow again (configuration) press tick.
the printer now print 2-3 pages of printer configurations inc life cycles and net card configs

Where do I get the HP Meter Reading? (how much pages printed till now?)


Hi - To discover this in Windows:

  1. Go to Start>settings>Printers and Faxes
  2. Right click on the Printer >Properties>Printing Preferences>Basics> click About and it displays the Page Count.
