Interactive Service Detection found problem

After updating everything on the PC, ISD keeps reporting the following: The program might need information from you or your permission to complete a task. Program(s) or device(s) requesting attention. Message title: Printers Program path: 5b64144ccf1df_6.0.7601.17514_none_fa396087175ac9ac\COMCTL32.dill This problems occurs when a program is not fully compatible with Windows. I tried to solve this problem but to no avail. Please help!

no idea what and "ISD:" is, Independent school district"?
for sure you are running SOME APP that is non compliant to
you unstated OS.

The optimal thing to do is remove the software program and re install it. Just as a word of warning if you don't know what services should be starting up with windows you should not disable any. Its fine to disable programs from the start up options, but as a rule of thumb stay away from the services.

Chances are this is a software program problem not computer.

If it still does not work, please post your question more thoroughly. Good Luck.

Ma-Config does all the driver detection using a downloadable ActiveX plug-in. The free service is Windows only and is certified by VeriSign. The plug-in is compatible with all the major browsers like Internet Explorer, Opera, Chrome, Firefox and Safari. The driver database is provided by TousLesDrivers.

Ma-Config makes it easy for both the starter guy and the experienced hand. There is nothing complicated to install apart from a little plug-in to start the process to analyze PC systems. Ma-Config moves the process towards the download of the newer drivers and also gives us a few more steps to consider like sharing your configuration or recording it in a PDF document.

Ma-Config also has an offline mode whereby you can use the plug-in on a computer not connected to the internet, run the scan and save the results. The results can then be analyzed on another computer with an internet connection.

Ma-Config is a web tool and like all web based tools it prevents us from installing a bulky program. The only minus, some parts of the website are in French.

hi you really need to provide more information to properly access the problem. Like is it coming up on your P.C and what is the operating system From a guess I would recommend reading this article I found .

Try removing the printer driver and downloading a new driver from http://www.dell.com/support/drivers/us/en/19/Product/dell-968
you need to enter a service tag which I do not know anything about but think might be on a lable on your printer..
And then install it onto your P.C

I've found that re-registering the dlls has solved quite a lot of windows update issues. have you tried this?

Interactive services box keeps coming up after installing google chrome and can't get rid of it


Hi,

Unfortunately,the question you had asked is persisting issue in Google Chrome and the developers at Google are yet to fix it.They have not provided the workaround. But you can stop this interactive dialog box by following these steps:
1. Open Services.msc by Start->Run->services.msc
2. Double click on the entry 'Interactive Services Detection'
3. Click Stop button(if it is enabled) and change startup type to Disabled.

you must follow 5 steps

1) connect ur device to windows xp or windows 7

2) go to sansa website download sansa updater and install it

3) then follow instructions by sansa updater it will then automatically search and install a program for detection of mp3 player on ubuntu install that program its around 16mb .the software will do this you just follow this

4 after completing sansa updater instruction ,go to settings you can now see a usb mode then change to msc mode for detection in ubuntu

5 for detection on windows change to mtp mode

- Click the Empty Selected button.
- Click Exit on the Main menu to close the program.
- Shutdown/restart the computer.

3. Next, download Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware to your desktop.

- Double-click mbam-setup.exe and follow the prompts to install the program.

5. If still no joy see and follow carefully:
"Checking for/Help with Spyware, Malware and Hijackware"



Once you are sure enough that, it's not the Spyware. Now the next step will be to perform the Windows Update. After performing the Windows Update, check if problem exist. Also you can check the Event Viewer under Control Panel -> Administrative Tool & look for which exact service is causing the problem.
