Question about Insignia IS 20" TV040919 TV
All of a sudden tonight, while playing XBox 360, my TV started making this popping/crackling noise accompanied by a small flick of the screen. The sound continues even after it's turned off. Help?
Sounds like you have a bad flyback Transformer...Crackling is high voltage leaking. I would quit turning it on and replace the main board in the set if you are good at soldering you can replace the flyback transformer but cost wise it is easier to replace main board. 20" might not even be worth the repair.

This is not common, but it could be a problem with the AV cables, try buying some new ones. If that doesn't do the trick then contact Microsoft. They just issued an extended warrenty of 3 years for ALL xbox 360 owners.
Microsoft should either replace it or give you a refund.
