You need to reload your operating system or a part of it. Most of the time this is caused by the OS disc that the system was loaded from could have been dirty or scratched up. Try an reload and don't rush the process this will also give you mixed results.

I have an HP 6200 pro desktop that I am having trouble finding the correct drivers for the 82579LM Gigabit network Ethernet connection. Can you Help?

what you need to know is what operating system does the hp 6200 pro desktop run on ?
from the specs on the hp 6200 pro desktop
it might be
Microsoft Windows 7 Professional 32-bit

Then download the correct driver for the operating system you are using
https://downloadcenter.intel.com/product/47549/Intel-82579-Gigabit-Ethernet-Controller
and then either run the download or point the update driver to the folder the driver is downloaded into .
Depends on the type of driver you download as to whether it installs itself or has to be added via updating the driver and pointing to its location after it copies its extracted files if it is compressed.

Reinstall windows root system 32 hal.dll

Do a start up repair.

Insert your Windows Operating System disc in the DVD. Reboot your computer and press any key when you see the phrase "Press Any Key to Boot in CD".

Select the start up repair and it should work after the loading process.

I hope this helps.

Missing files to run skype

Just re-install the skype again but if the problem still occurs then i would suggest to use a system utility tool like Reginout to fix this problem. Sometimes this problem occurs due to corrupt registry files or due to missing dll files.

Hi,

It appears the .Hal file is missing or corrupted. You can restore the computer back to factory default,to do so, follow the below steps: Turn OFF the computer, now as soon as you hit the power button, keep on holding "Alt" key & keep on tapping "F10" key, i.e Alt+f10, it will open the recovery console, select full factory restore and follow onscreen instruction. NOTE: This will erase all the datas on the computer.

Thanks & regards,

Control panel icons and properties tab are not working

Hi,
The first step is to scan for spyware. These nasties can alter system files. Download MS Antispyware and Ad Aware and scan or spyware.

Also run a system file checker command to update any missing files Go to Start>Run>type "sfc /scannow" without quotes.
Note: it is advised to keep the original windows CD handy while prforming SFC \scannow as it tries to update the missing/ corrupt files.

Arpit

Windows 32 file is missing

Normal 0 false false false MicrosoftInternetExplorer4 /* Style Definitions */ table.MsoNormalTable {mso-style-name:"Table Normal"; mso-tstyle-rowband-size:0; mso-tstyle-colband-size:0; mso-style-noshow:yes; mso-style-parent:""; mso-padding-alt:0mm 5.4pt 0mm 5.4pt; mso-para-margin:0mm; mso-para-margin-bottom:.0001pt; mso-pagination:widow-orphan; font-size:10.0pt; font-family:"Times New Roman"; mso-ansi-language:#0400; mso-fareast-language:#0400; mso-bidi-language:#0400;} Windows 32 file is a system file this one along with others if faulty or corrupted will stop windows working
The easiest way in the long term is to.
Boot from Windows CD and after all files are loaded. Windows will ask you what you want to do. Install, Repair etc. Choose repair and follow instruction from there Windows will remove some files and reinstall in repair mode. You will not lose any files, during this process.
The reason I choose this method is because you can spend some hours trying to fix not starting problems and not succeed while a reboot in repair mode takes ¾ of an hour plus time to load drivers
