Instructions for call forwarding on a KXTGE234B

Hello Eve Lansing,

Call forwarding is CUSTOM CALLING feature...

(TYPICALLY not free).

Which has nothing to do with your telephone set
(cordless or wired). Since FIXYA is actually a GLOBAL site...
PONTIFICATING about telecom feature invocations would be foolish for me to try...

(But you could look at the nifty wiki page I attached at the bottom to see how WIKI thinks CALL-FORWARD is done GLOBALLY).

Typically local network instructions (were... in my day (long past))
found in the front of your phone book...
The paper-type (in my case formerly Pacific Telephone & Telegraph... (see below for me being foolish)).

Lets say you were in a USA serving area...

To cancel call forwarding... listen for dial-tone... then dial: *,7,3

To invoke, dial: *72.. listen for second DIAL-TONE (INPUT THE 1+ (FULL TEN DIGIT) destination code (eg: 1+ 415-555-1212)...

If it rings... and is answered... Job done!

Else: (no answer repeat the sequence: *72....
1+ 415-555-1212... (rings again... job done).

To test... simply dial your own number...
(you should hear a "ring splash" (one short ring) on the forwarding line (but will not be able to answer calls there again until you cancel with the *73.

(If you get fast busy... trying to dial *73... the FEATURE NEEDS TO BE ACTIVATED by your local provider.

Hope this was more informing than tedious!!

Nota bene:
If indeed you use the 555-1212 (as seen on TV)... all your calls will now be forwarded to the San Francisco AREA information operator
(bad idea).

How do I take my viking lily 555 apart safely, to fix and clean myself. I cant afford to take it to a dealer.

Do it step by step taking photos of how it looks before you take parts off so that you can put them back the same way

Lawnmower will not go forward or in reverse. Brake is not engaged.

Is the lawnmower in transport mode. I know alot are underneath the back and it is a a small handle that when engaged disallows the mower to be put into gear. Let me know if this isnt the problem.

Missing a foot pedal

Check with your local Husqvarna Viking dealer. That is what they are there for.
The foot control is a little pricey for that machine, but why would you want to take a risk on cheapening your experience with your machine that you "ADORE" by trying to take the cheap way out in getting a part for it.
Get what you need and continue to "ADORE" your machine.
