SOURCE: washer leaking from bottom

Take the front panel off of the washer, and run it through a cycle. Watch to see where the leak is coming from. Also, pay attention to the drain in the wall when it is in spin/drain. If this has a blockage in it, it might be backing up causing water to come back out of it.

If you see no leaks the next time you run it, it's possible that it splashed over while spinning because of the off balance load and may not happen again unless it becomes off balance again.

SOURCE: Frigidaire FTF530F won't advance

Possibly the timer. next time it wont stop filling turn off the washer. if it still fills you have a water valve issue. Hope for the valve. Timers are big bucks.

Washing machine does not advance cycles automatically

More than likely a bad timer. You can buy the parts on-line, one source is repairclinic.com. Go to that page and enter your model number and look for timers. I found several there for your machine depending on the options the machine has.

I have a Frigidaire Gallery Heavy Duty electric dryer, the dryer run non-stop even on auto-dry mode (timer doesn't advance) but the clothes aren't drying either.

Timer will not advance unless the element is working. Suspect bad element or bad thermal fuse on element housing

GE Top loader, Heavy Duty, large capacity washer does not advance cycles but stays in one cycle. I have to manually change cycles.

Depending on the exact model number it sounds like you are dealing with a bad timer or bad clock on the timer. There are contact points inside the timer and they burn out. Sometimes the clock goes bad It has plastic gears inside and is non serviceable. The only thing you can do is replace the timer or call a local repair technitian to make sure.

Timer only works on heavy cycle not on normal model #11024632300

Could be a bad timer or loose contacts.
Unplug the washer.
Open the control console.
Remove the wire harness connector from the timer and re-insert it.
Also advance your timer manually 360 degrees around several times. This can cause stuck contacts to work correctly.
If this does not correct your problem you will need a new timer.
